I went in for new dentures and they gave me dentures that didn't fit and they tried to make me take them. They were big and bulky and didn't fit my mouth. I didn't like anything about them so now they're trying to tell me it's because of what I chose. Regardless of what I chose it should be high quality. But I got garbage for teeth and so I have go through hoops to get my money back. Don't go there if you want a denture that fits right. It's really sad to say this once they find out you don't like them they are rude to you and want to make you feel like they're right and you're wrong. I know what feels right in my mouth. Don't get caught up in their reasoning. Stand your ground and get your money back
I visited Aspen Dental on July 13,2023. I had a first time visit in order to have my dental health cleared for an upcoming surgery.
They did an initial exam and X-rays. I was informed that I needed a root canal. I scheduled the root canal for 8/24/23 and paid my out of pocket cost. One day prior to my appointment, I was contacted and told me that they did not have a doctor to perform the procedure.
After waiting over a month, only to be notified a day before the procedure is total negligence. They attempted to offer a reschedule at a different office a week later, I declined. I contacted that office directly and was told that I was unable to have the procedure performed there either, due to no doctor. I am glad I did not rely on them to schedule me.
I would be out another week of time. I tried getting my records and x-rays to go somewhere else, but was unable to receive these records expediently. Apparently they have to get them from their main office, even though I was seen at the office that I was attempting to get the info from.
I am so upset over this experience and the desk help and supposed manager could not understand why I was so upset! I should not have my insurance company charged for the initial visit, because now I have to start over somewhere else.
I hope that I can find someone to do my procedure in a hurry so my surgery will not be postponed.
I am in a lot of pain and really need this surgery to alleviate this pain. The negligence of this office will cause additional pain and suffering due to the lack of competence.
Aspen dental charged me for a procedure that I did not have (aveoloplasty) $291.00.
I had dentures financed through Snap Finance for $1150.00 but didn't receive them because they said I owe for the aveoloplasty. I'm still paying the $1150.00
No dentures. Aspen Dental are scammers, they wouldn't refund the difference of the $291.00 and $1150.00. I guess they pocketed my money.
Dr Davy said to come back if bite needed adjustment, I called the next day to bring my elderly mother back but they refused an appt and said Dr Huang-Davy the director, said she needed go to a TMJ specialist as if she adjusted bite it could trigger pain, Waited 3 months to get into a specialist, all the while she lost weight from not being able to chew well and the bite eventually was adjusted easily with no problem with TMJ
Booked with them because they stated on the website they were open on Saturdays. On first visit was informed they did not open on Saturdays anymore. Booked first cleaning that went well and was going to book 4 additional appointments to have 3 fillings replaced and a crown. Called the office and left multiple messages which I never heard from them. When I finally did reach them I explained I needed to book 4 appointments. I was informed they did not have a dentist at this time and would have a temporary denitist coming in. They would not allow me to book but one appointment at a time due to this fact. I explained I needed to book them all due to being out of town. Asked if I should see another dentist and I was informed if that is what I felt like doing to go ahead. How can you run a business when you have no dentist and then cannot even book more than one appointment for a patient at a time.
On August 8,2022, I received my bridge on the upper right side of my mouth. The dentist told me it was made from their best material, and I'll be set for years. I paid over $3000 out of pocket; my dental insurance covered the remainder.
On August 5,2023, early Saturday, at 3:00 am, I woke up with an object in my mouth. To my surprise, it was the middle section of my bridge I went to the Hampton, Virginia office on Monday morning, August 7,2023, at 7 am. I was told the dentist that performed my initial installation had moved. I saw a dentist filling in at the office. She also stated my bridge was made out of their best porcelain material. I was told to talk to the office manager. To my utter disbelief, when I spoke with the office manager, she told me I would have to pay $5000 for another bridge. I was devastated and angered beyond words that Aspen Dental was not standing behind its products and service. My bridge lasted LESS than a year! I have a bridge on the upper left side I received from a dentist that is no longer in practice over six (6) years ago, and it's still there. I am asking for your corporation to stand behind your service.
Aspen Dental in Kyle, Texas tried to double charge me for a dental visit I had with them. When I called them to complain they said they would look into it. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear from them. When I called to find out where they were with the matter, they tried to gaslight me, telling me they did not double charge me and asked me to please check my bank account. So, I did and saw they'd credited me the day before for one of the charges. When I asked them why they didn't just call me and admit they'd double charged me, they told me they never double charged me at all. Another thing they've started doing is charging patients upfront for services; that is, before any work is performed. None of my previous dentists did that. My doctor doesn't do that. No one I do business with requires upfront payment for services. Aspen Dental in Kyle, Texas has decent Dentists, but bad business practices. If you need a dentist, I recommend you try another dental office.
I had 2 surgeries and my permanent densures look like hell so pissed off I ready to get my money now and go somewhere else
I went in to get an Implant prior to geting my medicare insurance, so I got a quote of around $2,500 total, so I had some puliminary work done, tooth pulled, bone grafting ect. Paid for that out of pocket about $600. I came Back in for the balance of the work Post setting, implant work, crown, ect. Now I had medicare insurance coverage up to $2,000, prior to the work they gave me the "patients responsibility" paperwork that totaled $5,400 my share after insurance was $2,400. They acted like they did not understand why I was upset... really. Never will go back
I fully agree with Elizabeth! My husband needed a crown which they couldn't do for SEVERAL weeks made him put a $200 DEPOSIT down, he didn't know any better. He came home in pain so i found someone to do the crown the next day. This was in March i have been fighting with them ever since to get that $200 back which was on my FSA card which has been frozen because i don't have a receipt of the services that were performed because NO SERVICES WERE PERFORMED! I have called this office so many times the office manager didn't even take my calls anymore. I started calling the corporate office last month still no refund. Today I called and guess what they have absolutely no record of me calling the local office or the corporate office absolutely a racket.
After my cleaning i was informed that I didn't receive the antibiotics because she needed to check with the Dentist to make sure it was ok because of my allergy to Penicillin. I was told by the Hygienist that I would receive a credit. After the visit I called to see when i would expect to get my credit because I had to pay over 300 dollars out of pocket. The Hygienist then said i could come back to the office because she got permission from the dentist to do antibiotic treatment. I declined this offer. If I wasn't getting the service i should not have been charged for it. I spoke with the office manager Asia who told me I could expect my refund in 10 days. Today is 8/16/2023 and I have yet to receive my refund or a return call. This is theft. I am below middle class, and I was taken advantage of. I will continue to fight for what is right. I will not be seeking care from this place again. I can't continue with my treatment until I'm refunded.
No one at their Joliet IL office explained what
Dentures would feel/be like. Nothing natural
About them. Most times your upper will require
Using an adhesive, MESSY! Get dental implants
If you possibly can. I only wear my dentures when
Eating out with company. I can eat most things
With out dentures. Steak or peanut brittle? NO
Had appointment no one there to pull my tooth they called me 5 times to confirm wanted to change date lousey service wont go back dont answer phones
Will NEVER go to Aspen Dental again! What a joke, always a different person each appointment when asked "Oh they quit " Worked out plan on what needed done and price that changed with each difference dentist seen. When asked financial person and had written down name, date and of time call was made to be sure how much it would cost the other office lady said " I'm not sure where she got this amount " Went from 5 something to 2 thousand something. Really? Then they billed an insurance company we don't have. Never has anything been as promised. 1st tooth pulled they left tooth fragments. Long story short found another dentist today and will NEVER go back and will tell friends etc of horrible unprofessional experience. Reading reply's from reviews it's just a generated reply.
My aspen dental lost me as a client today as they refused to do a cleaning without making me go through x-rays first. I told them if they would not do it. I would find a dentist that would do which the employee said "OK. Have a nice day". Two years ago when they opened I was thrilled with the service I got. They have now become too big riches and more concerned with making money than helping the patients.
Just wanted a new partial, was told I'd have to have X-rays, a deep cleaning, and possible other work to make sure my other teeth were "sound" first. I call rip off, just make my partial and STFU what ever happened to the customer is always right? They're just trying to up sell you anything they can, STAY AWAY!
Booked for a cleaning. Did every other billable pre cleaning procedure and then said the dental hygienist was too busy today to do the cleaning schedule back in 6 months. Absolute joke. It also looks and smells like a bowling alley. Don't do it. Thank me later. I'm going to go make sure they didn't use up and bill my 1 out of 2 cleanings a year. Place screams insurance fraud.
My wife and I went in for an exam. The hygienist checked my gums no problem At the very end she jammed a dental pick into my gum and said I have bleeding gums and that I need a deep cleaning. Now they refuse to give me the normal cleaning my insurance covers. My wife went through the same thing. I went and got a second opinion and was told I have healthy gums. Stay away from Aspen Dental.
This place sucks! They cancel your appts for oral care then don't call you back. When you call back they say you are on the list to be called back but they can't tell you when that will be. Did they ever here of referring you to another office temporary? I do not recommend this place.
I went to 3201 N Western office in Chicago in excruciating pain; needed a quick fix, they quoted $34,000! I am in more pain now then when I visited Aspen Dental; OUCH! No quick fix and still unable to sleep.
