How bad an organization can be. From top to bottom this place is a complete mess. I actually feel sorry for them so I am not even going to sue them. I am just going to forget the entire experience. Basically, they are great until they get your money and then it all goes downhill from there. They actually lost the dental plan they put together for me and then lost my 1000k+ payment. Apparently their system got hacked or somehow lost all data and now they won't recognize my payment. In addition, I have had better care back in the 70's! Do yourself a favor and do not go to Aspen!
After presenting them with my dental insurance, which is pretty good, they made a plan for treatment that sounded reasonable, they sent me texts and called to make sure I would be there for my appointment, so after taking the day off and driving for an hour, I was presented a new statement saying my insurance wouldn't pay and I would have to give them hundreds of dollars, seems like they could have called or texted to let me know that, they didn't even seem to care, I shouldn't have been surprised having heard it wasn't a good place to go, if possible, avoid this place
Walk in to Halethorpe site and was instantly turn away, even with a big sign in the window saying, "Emergency walkin in welcome" was turn away immediately and said it be two weeks before a appointment can be made. I am in severe pain. They just lost my business. There should not be "Walk in" sign if it is not true. If this is not false advertisement, it should be illegal. Can't load image, you do not except PDF.
They would not give me a normal, only deep cleaning. Overcharged me, charged me on things they never did. Took me a long time to get most of my money back. The little girl who did my deep cleaning, i was agony the whole time, one wonder if she had practice on her dog. Good luck, not to be cheated.
In June I had taken my sister into Aspen Dental in Taylor's SC for dentures. The cost was $4135.50. On the 30th of June I informed that she had left my residence and wouldn't be returning for all the other work I was charged for.
Carson the Office Manager said he had spoken with the Doctor and they would lower the cost by $1400.00 which they never did. They are thieves and everyone should stay as far away for this Rip off company as they can. Find someone who is honest because Aspen Dental Taylor's SC IS NOT!
Aspen's front desk staff are professional and friendly! AND William the hygienist is AWESOME! His people's skills are epic! And he does an excellent job cleaning and teaching about maintenance! He is 1000 times a Keeper!
I had been a patient for approximately 3 years. I have never been to happy with the Staff, the scheduling and long waits for an appointment. The cost is outrageous. Being accused of stealing something that didn't even happen. I open a drawer to get a bandaid and the next thing I know I'm being thrown out of the office and told that my services will no longer be honored or my treatment. I never have liked the staff. The long Waits with a dental emergency is unbelievable. Three weeks I had to wait for a damn appointment. Then told they will not care for my dental needs accusing me of something I absolutely did not do. I will post a review everyday about Aspen Dental if I have too. I have paid out a few thousand dollars to this dental office. That's all they care about. Screw the patient. We can't help you unless you pay.
Accusing me of doing something I absolutely did not do. I left there office very upset mad and disappointed in such treatment. They can take there business and shove it up there $#*!..
I was told I did not have dental Medicare coverage. I paid for dentures. My insurance rep called and said I did and they had charged them. Also taking my money for entire bill. They have not reimbursed no matter who I talk to. They owe me my money back and made up charges for dental care that was never provided.
Went in to establish a new dentist, first time with Medicare Advantage Dental, they recommended deep cleaning, bridge, crown, and partial. I agreed to cleaning and paid $1539.00 up front. Cleaning took 25 minutes. They billed Medicare Advantage and they denied not covered by my plan. Then they won't answer my calls. Aren't they supposed to tell me my insurance won't cover? I'm pissed.
Absolutely unethical business. Pure robbery. I broke a tooth and unfortunately Aspen Dental was the only place that had availability ( in understand now why). Within 5 seconds the dentist determined I needed an implant and a deep cleaning and presented me an estimate of $4500 out of pocket. I knew this was BS so decided not to accept this and waited 2 weeks so I could see a real professional dentist. The said an implant was absolutely absurd and no deep cleaning was required either. The fixed it immediately with a regular crown. Aspen dental asked $150 for this 5 second consult
Whoever gave good reviews either got lucky or lied. This place is a scam. They are just trying to get your money. Read yelp reviews, I wish I had
After making at least 4 trips they called and told me to come get my teeth. When they put the teeth in mi mouth THEY WERE LITERALLY SO BIG TILL THEY FELL OUT! The tech told me I could use polident. I told her, hell being sick of polident was why I was there! She told me there was nothing that could be done. I told her to go get that doctor, because what was going to happen is they make me new teeth or they were going to refund my insurance. They are the most rude, incompetent group of jackasses I've ever dealt. They need to be closed due to incompatance and blatantly not giving a damn about how the treat. If anyone hears of a class action lawsuit against them let me know.
Horrible costumer service!
I am truck driver and I had an emergency. I was coming to Harrisburg, PA and I remember about Aspen Dental. I never used before, but I really need the service. I called Wednesday and scheduled an appointment to Friday, September 1st at 4pm. I received an email conforming my appointment. Great. When the day and time came, I need to run 30 miles to reach the location and for my surprise - CLOSED! No email, no message, no call to say something.
This is a really unprofessional place. If the clinic do this I cannot expect something better from the doctors and staff.
Was treated like less than a person. They are just looking to make money. Go find a reputable dentist these people are a-holes and should get sued for the terrible service. I got a 30 second exam and got completely lied to because they didn't realize that I had experience with dental services.
I went to Aspen for a new upper denture and picked it up on 4/21/2003. When I tried to eat super with it, the bite was way off. I took my dentures out and was surprised to see that the upper denture that they made only had 12 teeth whereas my existing lower denture has 14 teeth. I returned to their office on 4/24/2003.
The dentist looked at the denture and immediately said that he was going to get me a refund. He didn't even offer to make a new denture. He took me over to the billing person and told her to issue a refund for the denture and diagnostic cast. She told me that she issued a refund for the diagnostic cast and would not submit a claim for the denture. She gave me a form entitled, "Your Dentures are backed by Our Word" and signed her name with "Refund" under her name. When I checked online to see if a refund was issued, I saw that they submitted a claim for the denture, and there was no refund for the diagnostic cast.
Now I've used $1,177 of my dental benefit and have nothing to show for it. Calls to Aspen customer service have been fruitless. As of 8/28/2023, it's been 18 weeks and still no refund.
Had dentures done at this place they told me 4 months 1 year later I received them then they told me that I had a 7 year warranty on them even the rings I needed went 3 times no problem the 4 time I get billed for it now they tell me I need to pay for them they need to be more clear about what they sell they had no problem taking my 14k for the work they did and once again still waiting for the office manager to call me back but like always never will probably have to pay the bill
Don't go there, they over bill and their office doesn't return your calls. The quality of work I had done was adequate. But expensive and not finished. I had to pay another dentist to finish the work.
This company is a joke. Buyer beware. My husband had an abcess and teeth pulled and got no meds at all other than a week of antibiotics and then was left to suffer with puss coming out of his gums for a couple weeks after extraction. You have to pay up front but getting your money back when insurance pays out is a joke. They have owed us $719 for 6 months now and the payment supposedly isn't showing because they have been updating computers for 6 months. Home office won't answer their phones and when you finally talk to someone they are untrained CS all supposedly different departments to try and make it seem legit. Reality is they have a few agents who know nothing and can tell you nothing. There is no supervisors or management they just send you to another untrained rep to be told sorry we can't help. Even my insurance company can't get through to them. So now I have to file with the Attorney general for fraud to try and get my money back. Buyer beware.
I thought I'd give them ( Aspen Dental) a try. Office manager was nice in the beginning. Then when my two crowns kept falling out and my complaints., the manager was saying I was rude. My crowns fell out THREE TIMES WITHIN SIX MONTHS. In my opinion, the office manager should be FIRED and hire a professional staff.
