I thought this company was associated with the Peacock Company. The representative was very efficient at repeating the problem. All of a sudden she states that I will be connected to the technician and there will be a temporary charge of 5.00 that will be refunded. Stated that I will receive a phone call. When I commented that I had not received a phone call, the representative did not understand what I was stating but yet she was able to repeat the problem verbatim. I awaken this morning to find that my charge card had been charged a temporary fee of 53.00. I also received a text stating it would be better to chat rather than speak with someone. Sounds like this is a scam or at the very least a dishonest company. The problem has not been solved because there has not been an effort to provide competent solutions
Had pne legitimate reaponse and that was a reiteration of what I stated.
I thought I was getting help for one question, they charged me $5.00, I said ok, Then later I discovered they charged me $48.00 for a yearly subscription. Without my permission. When I BEGGED them to refund the $48 dollars minutes later they said no way, that is not our policy. And hung up on me.
I am a military veteran with hearing disability. Talking to tech-support with a foreign accent was hard for me to understand at times he had to send me a text message after the conversation in order for me to digest everything we talked about. Which was appreciated.
