Stolen money

I was using ask crew and never signed up for membership and co.pany too over 100 dollars out of my account and only refunded me 27 dollars I have spoken to a lawyer and unfortunately I will have to sue your company to retrieve the rest of my money. I would rather speak to some one about this from your company before I file charges for theft and drag this into court

While asking for one-time help and insisting I wanted a one-time charge, no membership, no recurring charges. (I had paid a $1 charge to have my problem reviewed, using my debit card.) I was told that my request could be honored. Then, by impulse, I opened my bank app and saw that, while the conversation was going on, they had charged my account $46 with a recurring payment in place. (I made a copy of the entire chat and reported it to the FTC.)

I am really dumbfounded as to why some people give this company a good review as they did nothing but trick me out of $70 for doing absolutely nothing. I don't even know how I reached their site because I was trying to get answers from MyHeritage and somehow was led to Ask-Crew chat assistant which asked me to authorise a $1 charge that would be refunded. I should have stopped there but then I was notified that my account was charged $69 by this company and I went on to realise they were planning to charge this monthly! Luckily I was able to cancel this recurring payment through PayPal and I have opened a dispute with PayPal in the hopes of having this reversed.

Terrible, I ask one question. Was sent to a link. Then charged for a full membership fee. It was only supposed to be 1.00. I would not recommend anyone for this 1.00 question fee.

Rip-off

I asked how to recover an account online and all they said was to keep trying what your doing. No it didn't work and they had no alternate ideas.
They also keep wanting to charge my credit card monthly after giving a useless answer to 1 question.

Said $1.00 charge, next thing I know they took $55 out of my PayPal account. Absolute total RIPOFF!

Edit: I would like to say that I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars because the company refunded all of my money. I would like to say that I think they should make it much more clear you are signing up for a monthly membership which is not very clear. I would have most likely checked the TOS of there was ANY mention that I, and many other people, were getting into a monthly membership. But I do think they are due a change in my review because of the refund. Thank you for that, Ask-Crew!

On March 2; 2024 used services to reconnect my printer. It was presented that I would be charged $1. I received two bills one for $1 and another for $55 recurring charges. Totally deceitful. You ate on running some type of scam. I wold have rated it a 0 but nothing lower than 1. You seem more concerned about muting reviews than following the law yourself.

I was of the understanding that "you" were in contact with facebook, which was the ONLY reason I contacted you. After repeated attempts to get me into facebook, which failed, your technician told me that he was just a technician and not affiliated with facebook. It was a complete waste of my money and time.

Ask crew is a fraud

I sought tech help at MSNBC.com. MSNBC redirected me to Ask-Crew. Ask-Crew demanded a one time, $1.00 fee to help me. I agreed to pay $1.00. After getting uninformed assistance from Ask-Crew, I discovered that a $55.00 charge from Ask-Crew was added without my consent. Then I discovered that this is a recurring charge of $55.00 per month. Ask-Crew is a fraudulent scammer and should not to be trusted.

I was having trouble finding some information about my Amazon account and stumbled onto Ask-Crew after seeing something on the internet that said Ask-Crew would answer my question for one dollar. They did answer the question, but the one-dollar charge turned out to be $55.00. My bank flagged the purchase and deactivated my debit card. I was issued a new card. I put a review on Trust Pilot and Ask-Crew is trying to have the review removed. It is an honest review of a company that told me I would be charged one dollar, but the final cost was $55.00

This is the 2nd time in the past day that I've had to write a review about this. They took another $55.00 out my bank account a couple of hours after, and I called them and was told that I would have my refund in a 24 hour period, but I have yet to receive it. Out of a total of $110. I have received half of it and I want the other half. They also said I would get an email,but I haven't gotten one of those yet either. If I can get the rest of my money, they'll NEVER have to worry about me again. Askcrew,answer this question please...when am I going to get the other half of my money?

I had my Facebook account hacked. Hired this service and it was a bait and switch. They hit my bank account seven times before I found out.
I hired them because I got screwed and they just screwed me again!

Ask crew.com ripped me off.They didn't answer my question. They fed me a whole lot of questions I didn't want and didn't have any answers to and when I asked for a refund, which should have been just the dollar I had paid, they took another 71.66 AUD instead.

I tried to change an address on a UPS package. Somehow through the UPS website I got connected with this website. I've been charged 55.00 for 2 months that I didn't authorize. When I called they refunded me 1/2 a month. Don't use them.

This has to be the worst service I've had. They kept me on the phone for over an hour and they were unable to offer a solution to my problem. Then I was charged $55 before the trial offer had ended. And I still have not been refunded. Absolutely ridiculous!

Was trying to get an issue resolved on my home computer and they told me they were only going to charge a dollar but when they charge TRIED TO go through my credit card caught them and warned me that they were a scam and were trying to charge my card $55.00 after they told me only a $1.00. I believe they are out of India. Need i say more.
