This so called "Have an Affair" Web Site is, in my opinion a complete fraud! Women get to use this site for free while men pay through the nose for next to nothing.

They have a dumb $#*! wink system that "lets" you wink at a female with a message like "Please check out my profile to see if you might be interested in connecting with me. If you are interested, 'wink' me back and I will initiate contact!".

You get to send this message for free while the female gets to reply with this gem, "Thanks for contacting me but I only have time to respond to full messages."

How inappropriate. Now if you want to get her attention you have to spend 5 of your credits. This has happened to me a lot! When you do spend your credits, 90 % of the time you never even get a response from these women who are supposed to be looking to have an affair.

On top of this some only want "cyber sex" while others want you to "get safe sex verified at a 3rd party site at even more cost" and then they disappear and others still seem to be plants of Ashley Madison who send you messages to motivate you to buy credits and then you never hear from them afterwards either.

Out of over 150 women I have tried to make contact with I got to meet only one and that was for a coffee but at least we became friends.

Other than for that, Ashley Madison is in my opinion a waste of time and money and I think a money maker for AM and possibly a fraud.

I was looking for a relationship outsite my marriage and I used many extramarital sites, I think I 've used almost all of them starting from AffairLink to AshleyMadison to LonelyHousewives to Saphrina to SweetDiscreet to xxxMatch. I was very frustrated with most of them.

I was involved with a real woman on AshleyMadison and was having a great time. I've met several women on Saphrina and I am still currently involved with one of them. I had a chat with a women on AffairLink but she was too far away to meet up with.

AshleyMadison was one of the sites which actually worked. Be aware that it takes some money because if you really want to hook up it will cost you more than just the membership. You need to get a hotel room. It is up to you to split the hotel bills though.

There were some dubious contacts on AshleyMadison. Just watch out and sort through them.

I was super suspicious about Ashley Madison but I am very aware that the only sure fire way to hook up with married chicks on the net is to have at least two (if not more) dating site memberships. Now Nostringaffair.com has served me well over the many months that ive been using it, but with a shortage of other highly recommended options I gave in and decided to reluctantly give Ash Mad a shot. And boy do I feel silly now for doubting it lol! The site is super sleek and simple to navigate, there are plenty of married chicks online at any given time and ive had some nice replies and some super sexy instant message sessions with a few of the members. I'm glad I gave it a chance, it has always been the match of the affairs dating world and I guess I just listened to the haters when I should have been making my own mind up. Wont make that mistake again! Lesson learned lol Now, just gotta make sure the other half doesn't find out ha!

AM had mixed results for me. It has been years since I used it so my review is from my experience about 4 years ago. I only talked with women within reasonable driving distance. While I had good conversations, it was very difficult to get them to meet. I understand that since the site promotes affairs and it is a risky proposition. I know some of the profiles were fakes/scammers but I did meet someone on the site so I know at least one was real! As with any dating/sex site, be careful and be skeptical, but be open enough to meet with genuine people.

One method I used to weed out fakers is to request a photo of them holding a sign with the current date and my profile name on it. If the picture does not look like all those awesome pics on their profile, then I moved on. One scammer sent a poorly photo shopped pic with a sign. I wished I kept it because it was so obviously a fake.

I have read the other reviews who keep recommending other sites. They all sound like they are representing the other sites so I don't give much credence to their reviews.

Most people purely associate Ashley Madison with infidelity because sure it is known to be a website for extramarital affairs. But once you use it you will be surprised how many singles are looking for some kind of casual dating. I am one of those singles and I appreciate Ashley Madison for many reasons.

The biggest drawback might be that the membership is expensive and I see why a lot of people started using alternative websites for extramarital affairs, such as Saphrina, VM and so forth. And I don't blame them. Why would you pay more for similar results? Yes, and of course the hack. That was pretty bad for Ashley Madison.

Why did I continue to use it? As mentioned before I appreciate this site a lot. I just feel comfortable using it. That's it. I don't mind that it is a little more expensive, and I am single so I did not really mind the recent hack. If you don't trust Ashley Madison anymore there are some alternatives like Saphrina. But I will still use Ashley Madison for casual dating and this won't change.

For a married woman like me to use this site I guess its obvious ive already lost my faith in the Hollywood movie versions of what a marriage should be like. But once you join a site like Ashley Madison or one of the other ones like NoStringsAffair.com as a woman, no matter what yur reasons are, any shred of respect you had for the institution of marriage goes right out of the window! I get propositioned several times daily on Ashley Madison from guys within my local area I cant believe how many men are cheating (or trying to cheat). It really is scary how packed full of married men the site is. Dont get me wrong, im not saying im whiter than white im on these sites for a reason and do enjoy the flirting and the attention of course, its just an eye-opener. Ive only met one guy so far (it wasnt on AM) and although it was a bit nervy and awkward at first he understood how important it was to keep everything secret and under the radar, so I ended up having a really great night in the end. Im excited to do it again finding a guy isnt the problem, knowing you can trust them not to start stalking you is though! So my advice is to always chat for a couple of weeks first and then use common sense (or female intuition, which is even better of course!). But be prepared to lose your faith and interest in monogamy before you start.

Been on the site for 3 months. I had an encounter with one real person i will assume. Women noth online and off line are always the same they don't change. New members always show up in places far away from you. Really expensive. Funny how all the female members respond to your wink with " I do better with full msg, or I am only interested in full msg. Etc." i think some features teally need to be updated and be more fair between male and email.

Say what you want about AM but for me its still the hookup site to beat when it comes to having an affair and finding people who are in the same boat. Ive tried a few infidelity sites and aside from Nostringsaffair.com there really arent any others that can give you the three things you need 1. A choice of real women/ men members 2. Private site that doesnt splash your photo everywhere 3. Good value for money. Id recommend it as even if it isnt absolutely perfect, its as close as youll find when you want to meet people who know what youre looking for and are aware all the risks that come with playing around.

I see a lot of haters complaining about AshleyMadison... but most of the guys complaining on here are their own worst enemies and it explains very well the stories the women I have met have told me. I don't see any reasons to complain about AshleyMadison and in my opinion it is the second best affair website after Saphrina.com. If you don't have a horrible profile and rude behavior you will get to know some nice ladies. Of course you need to know how to write two or three sentences in a row. It works just like in real life. All that being said I believe and I know that AshleyMadison is legit.

I joined Ashley Madison as a bit of a laugh using a fake name and must say im hooked. In fact, Ive been having so much fun searching, sending messages and chatting with the odd girl that ive joined a rival site too (think its called Nostringsaffair.com or something like that). Could see me getting addicted to this affairs stuff lol! I never really thought there would be that many women to talk to but seems they are just as devious as I am, which I suppose I always suspected anyway lol! Just make sure you clear your history if you share your laptop (youd be amazed how often I forget to do this)!
