We purchased 7 tickets roundtrip to Berlin in February 2020 for August 2020 but due to the EU not allowing US citizens to enter as a result of the COVID this trip is null and void. We called over a week ago to start the cancellation & refund process and were informed they needed a week. We called back and nothing was done and no progress. Yesterday spent all-day speaking to multiple different unhelpful and at times rude agents because supervisors DO NOT exist. The online Refund and Cancellation forms have been filled out yet again. I called the airlines which confirm they are issuing full refunds so they are not the roadblock for the refunds. I have researched reviews from many Victims on many different media platforms which all receive the same blanket reply from ASAPtickets customer service from a "CANDICE" claiming they are overwhelmed with refund requests. None of these issues have been resolved yet. I have consulted with my attorney which encouraged reaching out to the Attorney General for Delaware and California to file a complaint as well as US dept of transportation. The BBB complaints have not been fully resolved either which leads me to believe that the only step left for everyone in the same situation as myself is a class action lawsuit. If I could give negative ratings I would!
I just wanted to update my review as I did end up getting refunded full monies for travel and ins. I did have to email/file a complaint with the department of transportation, the better business bureau, and the attorney generals for the state of California and Delaware. If you don't see any resolution from taking those steps and doing your due diligence please let me know as I was about to begin to file a class action lawsuit and can get you my attorneys info.
