I recently started buying gold and silver. Apmex is a great company! Shipping is quick and they have a large verity at a fair price.
Prices are not very competitive unless they have a very specific item that can't be found on other sites.
I will not buy from them ever again! One time I bought an item from them and they did a lousy job of shipping it to me. The item got damaged in the process of them sending to me.
I collect silver coins and compare prices and "deals" from various sites. Apmex is more than fair and I always get what I order within 5 days.

Have had a case where my order was delayed as one item (listed " in stock") could not be completed as item was not available. No attempt to contact me to resolve the matter. When I queried about problem with the order they confessed the item was not available. They wasted my time so I canceled the order.

APMEX and I are Oklahoma Proud but you dont have to be an Okie to invest with APMEX.
They SOUND friendly, but are very unprofessional and provvide zero customer service. They held my check for 8 days, telling me it didn't arrive, then would not ship my order until 11 days after my check had CLEARED my bank. They would take no responsibility whatsoever for their screw-up, leaving me with no way to secure my order before I left the country for several months.
There's lots of places to buy precious metals - give these guys a miss!
