I had been recently tasked with the job of finding my brother a place to live in Arizona. Moving him from Illinois to AZ and finding a place that was affordable was very stressful for me. Wendy Souza was an amazing help to me. Most importantly was that she listened to me, and I really felt like she cared for my individual situation. She sent me several places to visit, made the appointments for me and eventually I found the right place for my brother.

This could have been such a stressful time- but instead with a simple conversation we got the recommendations we needed. Out of 3 options the first was a perfect match! I also loved the follow up! This our second time needed to use a Place for Mom- both experiences were PERFECT! Thank you for having such an amazing service available!

My now 91 years young Mother was hit with some serious medical issues about 18 months ago. She was bedridden for 3 months, which caused serious muscle degeneration. She has been living in my brother's home, but needed her independence, so I contacted A Place for Mom.

When my mom suddenly passed away I had to quickly find a place that her 93 year old companion could move to. I called A Place for Mom and they asked a few questions and immediately they set up 3 places for us to tour. It was so easy and they were with me every step of the way. It would have taken me so much time to call all the nursing facilities in my city. We chose a wonderful place and he loves it there. A Place for Mom took my stress away.

I can't praise APFM enough. Not only Michelle Lorusso but her team that rounded up a list of facilities within our budget and radius provided excellent service, and a priceless amount of understanding about intra-family difficulties. Doing the right thing for someone should not be so painful, but APFM seems to have seen it all many times before. No good deed goes unscathed in this world, but let these people make it easier, because they will.

I began looking for a memory care facility for my mom. A place for mom helped so much. Melanie called to check on us even when we had to postpone moving mom.

We never considered that we could live in an independent living facility because our nest egg had disappeared with the depression of 2008 when we first retired. But realizing that our house has appreciated in value since we bought it in 2017 changed our mind to the possibility.

I was pleasantly surprised at the ease and helpfulness of Place for Mom. I was overwhelmed and not even sure of how to find a respite care facility for my mother. With the help of Q I was put in touch with several facilities of which I toured. I was able to narrow down my options and visit the places that were applicable to our family situation.

I was totally unprepared when my mom was diagnosed with Alzhemeir's dementia. I was afraid, overwhelmed, just plain lost. Remembered this site from a commercial. My contact specialist was absolutely wonderful. Answered my many questions, then sent me several places that specialized in memory care. He has followed up with so many pieces of information that have helped me tremendously. I'm still quite raw after choosing a site for mom but feel confident I've made a good choice. No place is perfect for one's mom of course but I have peace of mind. A Place for Mom came through when I was in desperate need for guidance.

After living in the same home for over 50 years, the thought of moving to a new place was quite daunting for Mom. However, after my Dad passing a few years ago, we had reached a point she could no longer live alone. Our contacts at A Place for Mom were knowledgeable, asked lots of questions and made a number of excellent recommendations. This is the second time I used A Place for Mom. I I experienced a great deal of compassion and understanding from everyone I talked to at a place for Mom. It was very helpful to gain an understanding of the different types of placements. A place for Mom made this experience much easier and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to find a place for their loved one.

My 94 year old mother is prone to outbursts of mean behavior. After just three days, she was told to leave an assisted living facility that had been recommended to her by her friend. Suddenly needing an alternative, and not knowing where to turn, I called A Place for Mom. Immediately, Dawn Walker put me at ease. She was SO helpful and knowledgeable about the options available. She contacted places on our behalf and made calls to follow up on the progress. Mom is now settled into a skilled nursing facility where the folks are trained to handle her outbursts. And she is VERY happy!

I'm so thankful to APFM for their assistance in locating my current residence. They simply ask your budget, what your needs and wants are and then provide you the best matches. Made the experience so easy and I cannot sing their praise high enough. I highly recommend.
