Binary Options themselves are not new or a scam - you can read about them here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_option (although I'm not sure about this website in particular)

However, individual investors would be well advised to avoid such instruments as they generally involve market speculation(betting on whether an asset will go up or down in a short time period), not investment (putting money in an asset class which should appreciate over a long period of time, like "corporate bonds" or the "S&P500"). As a rule, individual investors would be best suited (and yes I realize this is very boring) to investing in index funds to maximize their personal financial gains in the long run. Beware of these scammers
Help yourself and stay away by these scamsters.
They will show you profits in the first few days and then lure into investing more and then scam you.
They belong in prison.

You want to lose money? Go to anyoption.
All the money you put in there tou lose, I invest, I won, I try to make a withdraw they reject, and I send all the documents.if they saw you making money they block or account so you can't make bids, sometimes they close the level seconds. Before if is for them convenience, I see whith me 3 times one of the times 40 seconds before, I not recommend this for no body, stay away from that, they just want your money

1) USDs were paid from the only quick means I had from a deposit in a US bank as a non US resident.
I was told I cannot do this the next time.
2) However Deposit was sent back w/o notice to me to the bank saying I asked for it to be returned.
I did not.
3) a finance expert asked me to compare parent chart with AnyOs chart for skewing. The third decimal seemed to be adjusted at close the three times I checked. I admit I may be mistaken but beware of others who may be doing this on binary options

I invested 90% of my retirement payment on binary options with the mindset of getting it multiplied and enjoying a better retirement life. It was sweet and smooth from the start, withdrawals were easy and consistent until it gets to a point I started to be denied withdrawals and that was how I lost all money, I couldn't get my investment amount back not talk of the bonuses. I contacted several lawyers but it was all waste of time and money, they couldn't render an inch of help. God so good to my old self and family, I later met with a certified binary options recovery expert that helped me recover my money from the brokers, it was worth it to pay him 20%. Don't trust them with your money!
I opened an account just to see how this binary trading works. Then I wanted to close my account and they asnwered it's not possible. For deactivation of my account the asked me to send a copy of my passport and signature!
Of course I didn't do that! They send out your user name and password together in one unencrypted email. So obviously they have no clue about privacy protection. DON'T TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY!
On a side note - that company is registered in CYPRUS!

I was reading a couple of the 5 star reviews written about this company, and would have to say I think they have been written by or on behalf of Anyoption. It states there is no risk and huge profits. Any form of trading comes with risk and as for huge profits, remember this is a business that only makes money if you lose money. Yes you may make some profit at times, but you will lose at other times, it's like gambling. Also Anyoption does not really like it when you make money and then try to withdraw your money. My experience was I made some money, but when I tried to withdraw the money, they told me the documents I provided were not acceptable. I supplied new documents, and still said the utility bills were still not acceptable, yet the taxation department accepts them. After a lot of back and forth calls and emails, they refunded me all my deposit, but kept all my profit and closed my account. They also lied claiming they were a member of the FCA, and when I phoned the FCA found out they were not a member. The claim has since been removed from their website. They will do anything to take your money, but will try anything not to repay you anything. Be careful, be smart, do get sucked in by them or some of the 5 star ratings on here about them.
