Found a great company on Angie's list. Mark the owner was very professional and always updated me about the work schedule. He didn't try to upsell me. He provided exactly the service I needed and at a very fair price.
I consulted with Angi in the past. I called three of the companies that was recommended to me. All three came out and gave me an estimate very quickly. I chose the one company that i felt comfortable with. They did a good Job building my fence.
I had my clean out in my yard that was leaking. I called Newell's and they came the next day. I know they have a busy schedule but they fit me in. The guys were friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. They did a great job. I have used Newell's many times, and they haven't let me down. Thank you guys for your valuable service that you provide.

I recently decided to use Angi's List to find a contractor for some home improvement projects, and overall, it was a decent experience. It gave me some peace of mind knowing that I could check feedback from others who had used these services. However, the experience wasn't without its frustrations. Some of the reviews seemed a bit inconsistent, with some contractors having glowing reviews, while others had negative feedback that seemed too similar to be entirely helpful. The pricing for certain services wasn't always clear, and I felt like I had to get multiple quotes just to understand if I was being offered a competitive rate. The communication with the contractors I reached out to was also a bit hit-or-miss. While some responded promptly and were eager to discuss the project, others didn't get back to me for days. I ended up getting a great contractor in the end, but it took a lot of back-and-forth to find the right one. One major downside for me was that Angi's List has become a bit too commercialized. Now, there are a lot of upsells and added features for "premium" users that felt like they were pushing me toward paid services, even though I was just looking for basic help. In conclusion, while I did find a good contractor through the site, the process could have been smoother and less commercialized. I'd say it's a solid option for finding professionals, but it could use some improvements in the way information is presented and how user experience is prioritized.
