Provided several completive bids through good companies. The offer I accepted, All Coast Painting did excellent job.
He came in check out my problem explained to me my problem and what need to be done. What he will need to do checking to see if retail will have the parts.
I had my roof fixed by a company that Angi had recommended and the person I hired from Angi did not attach the shingles to the roof. He charged me a thousand dollars and did a horrible job. I had to hire another roofing company to fix his mistakes. Angi is outsourced and you can not talk to a representative in the US. Customer service is terrible. I left a poor reference for the Angi roofer and the reference was removed by Angi. They don't care about their customers, they are just out for your money.
A contractor with Angi showed up over a holiday weekend to a rental property without speaking to anyone on the project. This is a rental property, and our clients are livid at the lack of communication – as are we. We have done work with Thumbtack as well and each contractor had to get the address from us after confirming a time and date for an estimate. Why is Angi releasing our clients address to contractors we may not be comfortable working with. Will not be using Angi moving forward as it seems to utilize unprofessional and unsafe practices.
Wow, I called to get a quote, they pushed hard to get me to book. They booked me with a general contractor when I wanted a specific skill set. Booking was two weeks out. They assured me I could cancel the appointment up to 24 hours in advance of the appointment. I called back later the same day that I made the appointment to cancel the future appointment. They then billed my credit card for the full amount $449.00!
This is blatant fraud! I will never do business with this company!
I would call them but I don't want to waste my breath on them.
Terrible business!
Angi (formerly Angie's List) is the modern take on the age old business question—People receive an internet product for free, but how can we get them to pay for it? It used to be email, ecards, caller id, etc. With Angi, it's reviews. There are innumerable sites that provide reviews for free. Angi makes you pay for it, and still takes money from companies to promote their ads above actual good candidates.
They are documented as being just as unreliable as other public review sites, such as Yelp, even more so. You can see from their failing business that consumers aren't buying it, so why should you?
I was really happy with Jet Stream service they did an amazing job with my suv. They took their time to detail my vehicle from inside out from cleaning tires, dashboard, car seats and et. I definitely recommend the service!
Very detailed, polite workers, punctual excellent work.
Performed several walkthroughs ensuring all details of our requested needs were being addressed. Would use again and definitely recommend to anyone that cares greatly about the end product.
I was a landscape company that has worked with home advisor for 4 years with a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Ever since they joined with Angie I feel there main goal is money no matter if it screws us contractors over. The site don't allow customer to browse instead forces them to fill out there info and automatically generate a lead to charge us whether or not the customer is ready to start there project. With home advisor I had a 75 percent success rate with getting work. Now 80 percent of the customers don't even pick up the phone. Following there criteria with calling back customers I still get charged and denied credit. Iv since changed banking information to stop bogus charges. We will see if they contact me when they are not paid
Their estimates are horribly wrong, often resulting in the contractor charging the customer more than the quote provided. There is absolutely no control over contractors, they show up whenever they want, sometimes even days later than they told you. I'm currently on my third contractor for a simple job, first guy showed up, screwed everything up, left partway through and never returned. Second contractor, never even showed up. Third contractor nearly finished the job, but left it undone and has not been returning any calls or texts since. It took nearly a month to get my money refunded from Angie, as the third contractor I was paying directly instead, and they fought me every step of the way. Currently, the job is still undone, looks terrible, and I am out the money I've paid the contractor for both his labor and the materials required. Long story short, horrible contractors, terrible business, avoid at all costs.
Keith and his daughter were a delight to have painting the interior of our house. Pleasant attitude (even when I ended up not liking the first color I chose). It was all my fault and he didn't bat an eye. We looked at color chips again and picked a new one. Great painter and very thorough. I would use him again in a heartbeat!
Thorough cleaning of my sister's trailer. After going through everything and seeing it afterwards; it looked like it was set up for a showing to be sold. Our family was shocked as to how great it looked. Definitely recommend their services to anyone. Below are some pictures; I'll try to get them all on here. There is a total of two bathrooms, three bedrooms, living room, kitchen/dining room and laundry room in hall, large closet in master bedroom. All thoroughly cleaned; and large amount of packing.
I called for a dishwasher repair and the "repairman" who came is not a licensed plumber or an appliance technician. He knew nothing about dishwashers and did not even know how to pull it out from the counter. He said his specialty is gutter cleaning. Ugh! What a complete waste of money.
Apex construction came highly recommended and lived up to everything we had heard. George and his sons worked so well together that the work was completed ahead of schedule. The job itself involved more than I realized and they did their best to assure me that when the floors were completed I would be 100 % satisfied. They were absolutely right. My new floors are wonderful and I plan to have George, Nick and John back for another project I have planned.
I would recommend this company as they seen to all my needs with replacing my air conditioner. They were prompt, professional, and. Very knowledgeable. The company's owner makes sure to follow up to make sure you are happy with their work. That is hard to come by these day's.
Two Hats Construction built a custom car port on my driveway. Construction is all steel. Solid and stable. Built on site. No complaints. Responsive to questions and suggestions from me. Would use them again for similar work.
Been with this company for 4 years and it is not going great. Angie charged me $28 for a lead where the customer does not own the home and has it up for closing mid-march two and a half months away and yet they still charge for the lead. I can't get into the house to do measurements to provide a quote but Angie can sell the lead to five contractors and make $140 for an unattended computer program that let's anyone generate leads without qualifying them.
I started with Angie's list when they first began, it was good. Then Angie hired that marketing VP that turned everything in to Dollars. I an surprised Angie doesn't charge me per phone call for all the leads that I have to try and get credit for. I want the old Angie back. Budget set for Angie's leads is $300 per month and we average 5 leads that actually can be quoted. That's $60 per lead. Just a bit too much.
This team is amazing. We had a tree fall on our house they came right out. They were very helpful, I have never had to make a claim before. They called and helped me make my claim. They did amazing work. If you need any work done these guys are the best I've ever seen.
Mr. Walters is a brilliant and talented craftsman. He replaced rotten floors in shower stall, built a bench in shower. He replaced and repaired sheet rock. His tile work is remarkable. Mr. Walters number one priority is to make sure customer is well satisfied and happy with his work.My husband and I are very blessed to have a kind and respectful man like Mr. Walters remodel our bathroom. John is the owner of Don Greens Dirt Service Inc here in St Cloud. He runs an honest and experienced crew of professional landscapers. John runs the company with the highest integrity. He loves what he does and it shows. He has good communication, he answers the phone and emails quickly, shows up for appointments on time, and he really cares about his customers. We had John and his crew here for a few jobs last year after we moved in and we were extremely satisfied with the work they completed. The crew were hard working and respectful of us and the property. They did very good work and fixed water run off problems and landscaping to the highest standards, we made it through torrential rainstorm this spring with no problems! We like John as a person, small business owner, and for the quality of his work. We highly recommend him and his firm Don Greens Dirt Service Inc.
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
