I had questions about frequency of orders, so I called their site. The guy was the dumbest human I've talked to in ages, but somehow took all my info and said it was set to go. When no pkg arrived, I called and was told they had NO record of my order. I insisted the meds be sent ASAP expedited mail at no extra charge to me (she wanted an extra $14 or so to ship quickly!). She actually said she'd have to check the recording - not to retrain her staff, but to VERIFY MY insistence that I had made this call! Talk about insulting! She did finally OK the shipment, but it arrived late, of course, while I paid an outrageous price for an in-town pickup to tide us over. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. There are plenty of other online sites that could not be as unpleasant and incompetent as Allivet.
Price beats Pet Meds, but I've had a horrible time with my order clarification by phone. They forgot to send my order twice. Phone service need to be improved
Always offer the best price and easy reorder. Ship fast and dependable too. I have been using allivet for my omega 3s for two years now. Same product but much cheaper than the vets office

I can't really complain about their prices; however their shipping is awful slow. I used to receive my orders within 2-3 days. They have recently changed to DHL shipping, and it now takes almost 10 days for an order to arrive.

When it came to finalizing my order the site could not do it... It was a very large order and it just froze up.
I called Customer Service got it finalized with a copy coming to me.
Twenty minutes later they raised the price and sent me another finalized order copy.
Have e-mailed them daily and called them asking how they could do that? And gotten horrible results with no satisfactory reduction even though I have copies and time and they just have still not answered my e-mails.
I spend in the year nearly $4,000 a year with them and this is how they treat me.

Finally received a phone call from Mgmnt at Allivet... After making my Reviews public.
Problem was resolved by providing me a credit for the overage given on Receipt #2 one sent after initial finalized bill.
All this could have been avoided if they had just honored their original Finalized Price.

#1 It took 3 nearly weeks to receive my order I spoke to customer service to inform them they sent me the wrong product. They argued for 10 minutes. They finally conceded i was right after i asked them to go to the manufacturer web site. After speaking to a supervisor I was assure that the correct product would be overnighted and arrive the next Monday along with a RMA to return the product. I have received nothing. The worst online experience ever.

Allevet has enhanced their website and product line but their customer service had gone down. I use them for the Comfortis for my 2 14yr old dogs only. Once they pass I won't need Allevet. I have referred many people to this site for the past

I ordered online. They never informed me that the vet had not approved the medicine. When I coordinated the vet with Allivet and the vet faxed back the approval. I called Allivet to confirm they had received it. Allivet said yes and the pharmacist would dispense the medicine as soon as possible. I called back the next day to see if the medicine had been dispensed. They said the vet had not approved it. What? They said the day before they had received the approval. I immediately cancelled my order and will not do business with Allivet again.

I ordered a 12 month supply of 2 medications for my dog. I received only a 6 month supply. When I called Allivet to request 6 more months, I was connected w/CS personnel who cannot seem to understand a simple concept. I paid for 12 months, I received only 6 month supply, Allivet needs to send me another 6 month supply. CS personnel read from a script, never acknowledge the issue and continually say that they will review this issue and have someone get back to me.
Follow-Up/Resolution - Tatiana from Allivet responded very quickly to my post and ensured that my order would be corrected, sent out immediately and promised to send some treats for my dog. She ABSOLUTELY kept her word. Package arrived today, with the missing portion of my requested medications, and treats were included. Thank you. When next I need the medications for my dog, I WILL order from Allivet. They've come through.

I started ordering my dog's prescription from Allivet several years ago because they had the best price on this medication needed for a chronic condition. I'm so pleased with how easy it is to reorder. They save my information and contact my vet if needed. Today I also found out their site worked fine on my cell phone!

I obtained a new prescription for one of our dogs for pain medication. I mailed it off two weeks ago. I requested that the company either call me or email me for credit card info. After not hearing from them I called customer service last Friday. They were unable to tell me if the new prescription arrived as their company does not enter them into a computer upon receipt. Instead, I was told to call the pharmacist on Mon during regular working hours. The customer service rep told me there was another script on file for same medication only a different one of our dogs. He said he could send that out. I asked him to send it expedited as I heard nothing from the company about the newest script. He told me I would have to pay $13 for that. On Mon I called the pharmacy department and was told that the prescription had arrived and whoever entered it into the pharmacy computer system never called or emailed me so nothing was done with the prescription. She was kind enough to tell me that they will send expedited at their expense. I should mention that the first time I ordered the same medication two years ago for our other dog the very same thing occurred... no one contacted me for credit card info. It appears that no changes have been made in their system to account for when scripts arrive and whether they contact customers for credit card numbers. I emailed the owner of the company to complain and make some suggestions but have not heard from him. I thought I was giving this company a second chance but would never order from them again.
April 14,2015... received a call from owner of Allivet. He assured me that they recognized the problems I had and had put some changes into place to try and minimize or eliminate the issues I had. He also made some suggestions to me as to how to get scripts filled from our vet without having to submit a paper script on my part. He sounded as though he sincerely wanted to improve the process from the beginning until a prescription gets filled.
He offered assurance that my next experience in filling a prescription will be a positive one.

Sorry we cannot enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system without an order created first. However, we are working to change our system to accommodate a request such as yours in the future. The easiest way to get the prescription to us is to have your vet call or fax us. Otherwise, we are always happy to contact the vet ourselves. As for ordering, most of our customers use our website or call in their order.

Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
