Terrible service. Continually have to hold their hand to get a prescription sent. Lied to by employees about receiving vets prescription email. They say they don't have it till miraculously a manager finds the email days after it was sent. Claim they will reimburse you for having to buy medicine elsewhere because of their incompetence and would run out because they don't do what they are supposed to do. Big surprise never reimbursed! Avoid this company at all costs! By the way this has happened on more than one occasion... If I could rate zero stars I would!
Just received an alert from my B of A Online Banking in the amount of $316.30 for a charge with this company that I have never done business with. In the morning I will dispute this obvious fraudulent charge!
My experience with Allivet was decent for the first two years I used them but has been going downhill since then. I have had orders held up for two or more weeks several times and have twice received orders with quantities different from what they claimed was shipped (too many in one case, too few in another, the latter being the expensive one, of course). They have claimed several times that my vet would not/did not respond to confirm prescriptions but my vet was able to show me fax receipts to prove they did and in another case said that Allivet never contacted them (Allivet in that case claimed that my vet told them that they would no longer provide fax confirmations. NOT TRUE!). The worst is lack of communication: Allivet has not been notifying me of holdups and waits until I contact them to then claim it's the vet's fault. The support people don't seem to give a damn: I get the "that's the way it is, you'll just have to wait until we're ready" attitude. Today, after not receiving my latest order after waiting 12 days, I found out that it was still waiting on a "response" from the vet. I ended up cancelling it as well as two standing orders and switched over to Chewy.com. Within 20 minutes, they had contacted my vet and the order is heading out tonight - with two emails letting me know what is going on.
I bought three Malacetic HC ear cleaning wipes for my cats ears and they work perfectly but I will admit my older cat hates them but they do the job and they save me a vet trip.
I tried to order medication online one afternoon and kept running into problems with the website not saving things and freezing. I tried again in the morning and got to where I could submit the order but then it said it failed. I still had pending charges on my credit card but no order. I then called and after giving my phone number and information to the first lady customer service rep the call was dropped and she never called me back, then the second time a gentleman answered and I got all the way to giving him my address because of course I updated it on the website but nothing stuck, and he had my phone number to and the call was disconnected and he never called me back. He also tried to say it was my fault the order did not go through because I did not have correct billing address or something which was completely incorrect! I had changed everything so it matched and was accurate. So finally I talk to a third person and AlliVet did not drop the call, and I was finally able to get my order put through. This third person admitted that the website was being updated and was experiencing all sorts of problems. Someone actually did not blame it on the customer! As a licensed veterinary technician, I deal A lot with online pharmacies and this by far has been the WORST experience!

I shop at Allivet because not only do they have great pricing on most of the prescription (and non- prescription) items I use for my pet, they have excellent customer service. The very few times I have ever had an issue over the many years I've been their customer, Allivet has worked with me to ensure a happy outcome. I trust them and recommend them to all the pet parents I know!

I always check the Internet for the best prices on meds for my dogs and every time, Allivet beats them. To top it off, you earn reward points you can use for future purchases. Customer Service is great too!
My initial order was for 20 tablets of Benazepril that my dogs' veterinarian had prescribed with 40 refills. My dogs' vet then sent in an authorization to increase the prescription to 100 tablets with refills. When I went to order, a quantity of 100 tablets, the system sent for authorization from my vet. I called Allivet and also sent a message to their customer service to try to get it straightened out. No luck. My vet sent a second authorization to Allivet for 100 tablets. I still could not order it. I again contacted Allivet customer service and got nowhere. Now I've noticed that someone has removed the 40 refills that were for the original order of 20 tablets from my account.
Excellent service and Allivet contacted my vet to get the prescription. My boy loves the product. Good job.
They responded quickly to obtain the prescription from my vet. Had the RX within a week, maybe even faster. I'll use them again, for sure!
Medicine was on autoship. I called after I checked the autoship date to learn that the medicine was out of stock. My first question was why a message hadn't been sent earlier and then received an e-mail that it was out of stock. The service person said that for auto-ship customers they would ship via 2-day shipping. They created the label, triggering a FedEx tracking number but never actually sent a package. I received multiple contradictory e-mails saying it was out of stock and it was shipped. When I called a week later and caught them in the lie, they refunded my money. FarmVet filled the prescription and shipped in two days.
Placed my order and waited days before contacting them. After getting ahold of them they said my order would ship soon. After that I got an email saying some of my items were out of stock and would be back in 4-5 days. After 5 days I called and they said my order would ship that day or the next day. After a couple days of going through the same thing and being told the exact same thing every time, I received a call back. They said one of the items in my order was out of stock, they removed that item and said the rest of my items would ship within 24 hours. Guess what? Keep calling and keep getting same response, that my order will ship today or tomorrow. My order still has not shipped. This company is trash and so is the customer service. I do not believe this is a legit company. Do not use Allivet or you will be sorry.
I am so glad that I found Allivet website. I did comparison shopping and found this to be the most cost effective. It's so easy to use and I highly advise using Allivet company.
They not only shipped just a partial order but they never informed me the one item was missing and out of stock. The 2nd of the 4 customer service reps I dealt with told me all warehouses except one had the meds. In stock and she would make sure I'd get it. There seems to be different levels of agents but still none were able to deliver on the one med. I needed the most. No matter how cheap they are they are not worth the hassle of dealing with customer service.
I've had trouble with their customer service many times before. Typically they blame the Veterinarian for not authorizing the refill but always turns out it's just them who are slow. I'm done with them.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
