The site wouldn't update my shipping charge from an international fee when I asked for delivery to a domestic address. When I logged out and logged back in so I could get the correct shipping charge, the price of the book I wanted had doubled.
The website is adequate for finding books. I'll soon discover whether my email address becomes a magnet for spam or if alibris just needed it to send me a receipt and tracking number.
