I had trouble with online order because I didn't understand that high shipping amount for one of the books was ( I guess) because it represented shipping for several books from same company! Then when I removed the book I thought this might be the situation but then it seemed confusing how to go back and get that book back on order from the "wish list". Then when I tried to email you it may not have gone through because I didn't remember my order number and couldn't figure out how to go back and get it without losing my mostly filled in email!

Every single damn time I find a book, and opt for a cheaper copy; I pay, and mysteriously the order gets cancelled. Then have to wait forever for a refund. This bookstore finder used to be amazing. About to delete and find other options

The checkout process is rather confusing: after being offered a discounted checkout option (by qualifying for free shipping, by using Alibris-owned purchases), I was shown an estimated total cost for the order, Which Included A Charge For Shipping! Only after 'continuing, to review the order' was I shown a revised total cost, which did reflect the offered free shipping.
Otherwise, there's a general 'clunkiness' about the site, which could be 'off-putting' to someone used to Amazon...
In my case, none of this matters - I'm a big fan of Alibris, and will continue to use and recommend it.

Ugh! Is this really just Amazon under a Different name? The same Amazon that has gutted every Main Street in everyone's home town, so that people are left without a thriving personal warm community? I went here to avoid Amazon, only to find under the guise of a sheep- truly beastly!

The website for this item was confusing. Plus when i finally got to the right one, I had to make sure my middle initial appeared on my credit card info and this posed a problem. The form obscured the top half of all the letters, rendering the info illegible to me, but apparently not to you since when I reviewed the billing address it was all correct. Phew. It took awhile!

Hopefully the books will arrive in good condition!

I have almost never not found the book I was looking for. The shipping and delivery process is easy and reliable. I love books and I love Alibris!
