Every time I go to checkout I am told my card details are incorrect, but they are not. I have to re-enter the same card details from scratch each time, though they are already on your system. I don't mind if the issue is to put in a security number (which is good practice), but that is not what I am told. I am also OK with you not saving my card. However, saving it but then failing to use it without explanation -- consistently -- seems a little silly.
Your website kept bouncing me between 'place your order' (which took me to the card page) and 'save and continue' (the only option on the card page -- where my details were already in place and which sent me back to 'place your order'!). I was worried I'd made the same order 5 times. I eventually broke the cycle by entering my card details again even though they were already showing in your system.
You seem to carry links to the books for sale, but they change randomly - one moment there will be a choice of 6 or 8 sellers, including some secondhand at very reasonable prices, the next moment there will just be one seller but repeated several times. A very erratic and frustrating experience!
Checkout with Billing address and shipping address a bit confusing.
Especially the popup with the long list of old addresses no longer in use.
Would be great to not only have the option to 'select' there, but also to 'delete'.

Placing order was a straightforward process. So far, so good.
You failed to deliver my original order, #*******, that I made on 28 November 2022, and only when I emailed you on 17 December did you quite casually reply to say in effect, Oh sorry, but you can order it again (from the same people). I have done so, and been given a new order #*******, but I don't have much confidence that it will be delivered this time, or that you will be able to sort out the money side of it. It's particularly annoying because I had originally ordered it in good time for a Christmas present.
Every time I buy a copy of the book I want the price goes up. It is a paperback that I suspect retails at c. £10-£12 but I am being charged £17+postage. We are trying to obtain a number of copies for a study group and no guarantee of delivery time.
It was extremely easy to place the order. I hope that Covid isn't going to be the cause of the books arriving in more than 6 weeks time, as they are needed for Masters studies early at the end of August.
In order to improve your website, it would help if you made some of the features easier to get at. I find myself having to go to great lengths to check certain things because the design is obsessed with getting me to check out before I want to.

Shipping fees have increase dramatically and still you don´t seem able to deliver half of the books i order. For the money you charge you should be able to give a better service (i. E. orders with tracking number)
Most of the experience was good, except when I came to register for an account. The system went around in circles and would not let me register despite repeated corrections and attempts. Gave up trying to register and used the guest checkout
The prices could include shipping when ordered in the listing. Arguably, the costs seem quite standard across sellers.
It would be amazing for the website to suggest books from other sellers to bundle shipments together.
When I logged in my cart emptied forcing me to start the process from scratch
Impossible to find order in my "Orders" screen because it is not logged there! My fault that I did not check the delivery address &change it, but with other sellers you could find the order straight away and amend it, no problem.
Hard to use site to get hold of seller.
What is good, is books are inexpensive and in good condition, and you are not Amazon.
Cart can automatically empty if not signed in first, leaving product unavailable for 12 hrs. Some products become unavailable after putting in cart, but stay available to re- add to cart for days (where process repeats).
Search bar doesn't always work as I'd expect, needing upc instead of title to bring everything up in some cases.
I have had no problems over the years with Alibris, a couple of books have failed to arrive and have been promptly refunded. The only book which was not as described came from the USA and was one of very few copies available so I did not complain. Over the years one gets to know the reliable sellers on the site and I try to limit buying to these. Overall it is a good and reliable service
Have bought from Alibris for some time now, the only time a book failed to arrive I was quickly refunded. Over several years only one book was not as described, it came from the USA and was in poor condition, it bore numerous stamps for Beverley Hills Public Library.; I suppose that does add character to it. Otherwise I have always found Alibris very reliable and I can usually find what I want on the site.

Very good but need it to be easier to edit addresses. Once a mistake creeps into the billing address it is hard to fix it.
Book easy to locate on website, the price was excellent as was postage too.
When changing, my shipping address, your court form does not modify the cost of shipping when this change involves a change of country. I had to cancel my order and then begin again. It also did not allow me to modify my shipping address from the cart, and it took me some time to work out that I needed to edit my account profile, and then try again, at which point, I encountered the first problem.
The shipping time is quite long. I hope the service time can be reduced. The tracking is also missing.
Great site for finding second hand books. Only issue is it takes a long time to receive the item, and I generally only get tracking details from when the original seller sends it to when it arrives at the Alibris warehouse, which is confusing!
