If I could give zero stars, I would. Agoda is by far the worst booking platform I have ever dealt with. They push all the blame onto hotels when things go wrong, even though they are the middleman and should take responsibility. They advertise rooms that are completely different from reality – no proper verification, no quality check, nothing. When you ask for a refund, they refuse to take responsibility, offering only 15–45% at most, no matter how bad the situation is. Refunds take 3–6 months, and even after chasing them since July, I still haven't received my money back. The refund amount is just a few dollars, yet they delay endlessly. Their support is slow, unhelpful, and selfish – clearly designed to protect Agoda's profit, not the customers. This company clearly exploits customers, minimizes payouts, and shifts all the burden onto the consumer. Their so-called "refund policy" is a joke – a scam wrapped in corporate language. Do NOT trust Agoda. They are unreliable, irresponsible, and dishonest. Save yourself the stress and book directly with hotels or use other platforms that actually respect customers.
