I clicked on homeinsurance.net site and got redirected to agile rates website. It took down all my information including asking me who my current insurance provider is and the only quote i received was the same insurance provider i currently have. Insurance companies are the biggest crooks who are raping American Home Owners. Congress needs to act now!
It's crazy that the government hasn't outlawed these sites. They literally are like phishing sites that prompt you for all the personal details, then simply tell you to go to ANOTHER site, which 90% of the time is another phishing site that just gets info but gives you no quote. They're clearly selling consumer information as a product, not actually offering any insurance product.
I have been trying to compare home insurance premiums, and agilerates.com is another useless website. After you enter every minute detail, you end up with only 2 links from "top insurance companies", and NO ACTUAL QUOTE. "You've been matched with a local agent... they'll call you". Clicking on a link that claims to be a quote only takes you to that particular website where you have to start entering everything again from scratch!
