Leonid Afremov

Afremov's pictures are kind, the energy from them is soft. In general, my impression is that your work makes you feel comfortable at home! It is no less pleasant that there is an approach to "consumer whims". Managers are always in touch and ready to solve any problem that arises.

Purchased a recreation of the wonderful "Farewell to Anger" understanding it was not an original, however, even though it was a great work some of the key elements I loved about the original were not captured by the studio as fully as I had hoped. I reached out inquiring about an exchange and David and Boris Afremov immediately responded, extremely kind, and amazingly offered to ship me an exchange right away after sending me a picture first to confirm if it was acceptable, as well as gifting me the original recreation for the trouble at no additional cost. The exchange received was absolutely breathtaking and arrived almost immediately, I could not be more pleased! Thank you so much for the amazing customer service care and continuing Leonid's great legacy!

We ordered the oil on canvas "Follow the Leader".

The painting had quite significant differences compared to the original. We do like the final product and have it up hanging on the wall already.

The most important thing to note if you are considering a purchase is that it is only a recreation of the original and will not have the exact features that you might have enjoyed when you saw the original online.

In our case, on "Follow the Leader" we found the heads of the horses came out a bit funny - almost disturbing. But it does make the painting quite fascinating to look at for a long time.

We are overall quite happy with having the painting up in our living room, and we still think it is quite fun! We would just advise other customers not to expect the original :)

After the death of the artist Leonid Afremov, I began to closely monitor the prices on his website and it seemed to me that they were about to go up a lot – after all, this would be logical – the fewer the paintings the more expensive they are, but fortunately this did not happen! Surprisingly, but till now you can buy paintings by this artist at old prices.

The picture had some paint smacked, but when I wrote to the studio workers, they answered me quickly, apologized, and offered an exchange at their expense without further ado. The new painting is on its way

I ordered 4 paintings on 10 July. I was so happy when the first one arrived. Unfortunately, I haven't received any of the others and no emails saying they've shipped. I have sent multiple emails all of which received polite replies telling me they would ship in 2 to 3 days. It is now 18 November and I've tried calling, I 've tried using the website's chat function. I'm still waiting on about $600 worth of paintings. I really want the paintings but am starting to feel like I've just been scammed. ***Update: All paintings arrived and they are gorgeous. I've upgraded my review but still can't go above 3 stars since it took quite a bit to get the remaining paintings.***

My painting disappeared somewhere along the way. It's a shame because it was planned as a gift. I had to buy another gift for the birthday boy. And the order never came. When all imaginable terms had already passed, they returned the money to me and apologized. Although, I'm sure it's not the studio's fault. Anything can happen during the shipping process. The main thing is that they have not avoided responsibility. I have very pleasant impressions, not offended at all.

4. Orders are not placed very carefully: I got a completely different picture. I could have left it, but this one does not suit me at all and I informed the support. They apologized to me, offered to replace me. But as soon as I imagined all these returns, shipments, I decided to just sell the painting through an ad for the same money. So in the end I was not hurt.

Dishonest company I feel ripped off, they advertise good quality copies with misleading photos. I bought and received a very poor quality copy. Do not buy. They should post photos of the paintings they sell, not the original painting. Be careful (see the pictures publicited vs received).

Where do I start? I saw an ad for a painting that stated it was a one of a kind, and the only one hand painted by Leonid Afrimov, so I took a chance and bought it. The painting that showed up looked nothing like the pic that was presented, so I reached out to Inessa Afremov who said it was a mix up, and would send the correct one. After several emails back and forth, I still have not received the painting I contracted for, plus my latest email was completely ignored.
Unless you want a knock off of the painting you contracted for, stay far away from these people!

A picture is worth a thousand words, so please look at the comparisons. Even with the refund, ordering these (mediocre) paintings has cost me a lot of money (and time). I think you have to get lucky, but honestly, I would never order from their website again. If you do; insist on seeing the paintings that will be sent to you beforehand.

The pictures I received were very different in colour, texture and quality compared to the beautiful originals advertised online. These are reproductions done in the Afremov studio by trained artists however the work of person who painted mine felt like that of an amateur art student rather than a professional artist.

The painting Mediterranean Mood by Leonid Afremov is simply cool! I love these colors! It's very stunning and modern!
I already bought on Afremov.com several times and I never had any problems! The last time I bought a painting called Mediterranean Afternoon, because in this painting I found unusual paints, unusual for Leonid Afremov who likes to use yellow red orange but this paining is not so bright, but this is the whole point! A wonderful picture, I love it very much!

I bought in total 5 large paintings and 7 small ones. Due to lack of space on the wall I also bought about 6 pillow cases. Each one of them paintings make me happy every time I look at it. Too bad I don't have more space. The colors are extraordinary bright and alive.
I recommend everyone to buy one or two or more.

I'm not a professional in art…but I heard that on this site all the paintings are original. And I really wanted to buy a beautiful original work. I asked my aunt who is good at it, and she was very glad that I have an interest and asked her advice. She told me not to hesitate, visit afremov.com, and be free to choose any painting I like. So I did. I am very pleased with its quality! And it is very pleasant and important to me – to know that the work is original.

I stumbled upon these paintings through a link on some forum. There dudes wrote that here you can easily buy paintings at a low price. High quality is more important to me than money, of course. Therefore, I bought the most expensive staff and was delighted.

Leonid Afremov's paintings struck me many years ago. I've been ordering paintings for myself and my friends as gifts ever since I found out about the studio. It is always nice to see the happy faces of people who hold Afremov's paintings in their hands. I've heard that they have a healing effect.

After renovation and getting rid of most of the old stuff in our house, its walls missed something. Then my wife showed me this website, and we chose 3 paintings together. I like to look at them when I get home, I would even say they are warming.

I am collecting interesting works in the field of painting, and I liked what this online gallery has to offer. Russian artists are amazing people. I was always attracted by their look at ordinary things. Afremov is definitely my favorite Russian artist now.
