AFF may be a freaskshow but it's not a scam. I'm a handsome, cut, well endowed male in my mid 30s. I can pick up women on any bar in america. I tried AFF. Banged lots of girls, most of the 6s and 7s. I realized after a couple of months that it was way easier to pickup slutty receptionists at happy hour than to spend hours writing witty emails trying to get the attention of women I wouldn't even pursue in person. So what does this all mean:

If you're a dude. You must be cut, endowed and willing to write a lot of freaking emails.
If you're a girl: you probably don't need much. Maybe a picture. Getting laid is a guarantee. Quality will surely vary.

So basically AFF is a hyperbole of life. Good looking guys get laid. Women just have to say "who wants some sex?"

I signed up a month ago. My experience is limited. Most of the responses I received were either from scammers or prostitutes. If you were a woman, you would find me very boring and undatable. The few real women I met, stopped communicating with me (as they should) after few messages. Those who didn't, were scammers. They ask you to move to a different platform to get you to send them money. They claim to be registered nurses who volunteered with the unicef to save children's lives. I received so many of those messages/emails you would think there's a special sale going on in the unicef these days. The website doesn't seem to track scammers or do anything about it.
The site suite those who seek wild stuff better. Group sex, couples, sadism/masochism, bandage... ect.
Expect an ample of nudity.
The site doesn't accept prepaid gift cards but accept regular credit cards and stores gift cards. For store gift cards, they'll use the entire balance.

Over the course of the last two years, I tried AFF three different times but this will be the last time. First, it's best if you're in the age range of 20's to 40's... anything older is not good for men, but good for women who are "self-proclaimed cougars"; they're always out for younger men with testosterone overload and lots of stamina. By all means DO NOT pay extra for the option of having "non-gold members" be able to contact you. Doing that will only put you in touch with fakes, scammers from Nigeria, cam girls and bots. Generally, if a person forks over the $80 for a membership, you can pretty much count on them at least being there for the same reason as you are, as in hookups. Additionally, the ratio of women to men is WAY out of balance. It's virtual "sausage factory". Depending on the size of the city you're located in, you may find that to be worse. Overall, I found it to be a waste of time and money. I actually DID meet one woman on my second venture into the realm of AFF, and she was petty cool... but our personalities were too different for anything more than a very brief fling, but that wasn't fault of AFF. That's all most people want on AFF anyway... I was just hoping for something more. I will say this, if you find home videos and "extreme close-up" photos of exhibitionists even remotely entertaining, you can find LOTS of that on AFF. But, you'll find even that gets boring after a short while. AFF was a disappointment... I had hoped for better.

During our brief encounter with this site, we chose to renew our account 1 to 3 months at a time, but decided at the beginning of 2010 we were no longer interested in the membership.

The problem started after checking our most recent bank statement and finding that AFF has continued to bill us this entire time, despite us being inactive on the website.

After notifying AFF regarding the error, they claimed we chose the "auto renewal" when in reality THEY chose the auto renewal, we missed the option of "opt out auto renewal", thus costing us 6 months of unwanted and unknown fees.

We expressed our disproval of their "auto renewal" system as unethical and state our account clearly shows zero activity for the past 6 months. Their response was, "the auto renewal is a common practice among these kinds of sites and there was nothing unethical about it".

We recommend you print all your receipts when dealing with this site as well as go through the work of having to find the "opt out auto renewal" option in order to prevent "in reality" unauthorized charges.

We believe this is a way for businesses to collect money in an unscrupulous fashion. We recommended AFF change their system to a "opt in" option, not "opt out". Too many victims miss this fine detail, which we believe is what these sites are counting on in order to make extra money from unsuspecting customers.

I open an account and paid one month for Gold membership, well their system really sucks, every time I sent pictures to another member, they never got them, it happened almost 80% of the times, so we had to exchange numbers to be able to trade pics, I mention to a member I met that AFF wasn't Apple friendly because I had issues with my devices working to communicate with members and he told me, I have an Android and also have several issues with the site... Very Lame and disappointing.

This site isn't a scam. But its definitely not easy. I'm a 24 year old male, in great shape, and not to sound conceited, but I'm not hard on the eyes. I've been on the site 12 1/2 months. Over this period of time I've had sex with 5 women. All 5 were beautiful and all 5 looked like their pictures. With that being said though, you have no idea how many emails I had to send to various women. And like a post I read about adult dating sites... you have to be original and appealing. But if you are in decent shape, aren't hard on the eyes, and can actually carry on a conversation in person, you might have a chance. Case in point, this site will not give you what you don't already have...

This site is blacklisted for the amount of phishing trojans and malware on it. They offer free memberships because they get paid in kickbacks from more than 3,000 "affiliate" members who load malware on your machines. They have hackers who pirate people's credit card numbers and phishers who steal using credit card numbers and install trojans and keyloggers on visitors and members machines. It is one of the dangerous sites on the web.

The site is pathetic. I am sure you would have better luck in a sleazy bar AND it might be cheaper.

It is yet another HOAX milking your time and money.

I wanted to try one month gold for around 29.95 by using electronic check crooked ffing bastards switched it to a year for 240 dollars i contacted my bank had them close the check account and open a new one. Then they come back asky why stopped payment i told them ffing crooked bastards. And on top of that you haave to pay another 9 dollars a month just to be able to send a message to someone. This adds are fake made by the same people that run this site. They pretend to be real people but you soon find out that is just scammers sitting in the Phillipines...you will never meet anyone no matter what you do.its sad that sites have to do this for money...also your credit card information is at risk. I bought a 3 month membership. I was not happy with it, I got to chat with a few people, which was fun. I found no one I wanted to meet, or to have cyber with.

With about three weeks left on my membership, I wrote on my profile, I was no longer willing to pay for the membership.

Somehow,,,, it was changed to " I am willing to pay for sex" Crooked Moderators? Who knows.

It might be an alright site for a young person, I am older, I did talk to some nice people. However, most the sex stuff seemed to be gay orientated, not my cup of tea.
