Was Great Until...

My family has bought 5 of these video doorbell cameras altogether. We've had them for about a year and have loved it, until we noticed something a couple weeks ago. We cannot view ANY of our videos without paying for their cloud service. This was always an option with them before, which was a nice option if you didn't wanna keep them on your phone, but it was just that- an option, now it's required. I will never buy from this company again. I have also reached out to them without any response. I'll attach screenshot of the screen you get whenever trying to review footage caught from your camera.

No longer free

Had for a couple years still have the box, box says FREE cloud recording! Was great until they decided to add the subscription for cloud storage of $59.99 for a year. If you don't subscribe you cannot view any footage. When someone rings doorbell now it goes straight to subscription, so you can't even check to see who's at the door or speak to them without paying it first.

This aiwit company will bait and switch. Had 7 then 3 day cloud lifetime storage now none. They want you to subscribe. They made my sd card not recognizable so cameras are useless unless you pay ransom

Camera not free anymore

Bought camera over a year ago and loved it. It only has limited history without paying for cloud service. Which is acceptable, however they changed it and if I don't pay for cloud service I cannot look at any of what it records. Thats not the terms when I purchased. Company is a rip off, don't buy from them. I will taking it down and throwing in the garbage.

Had for a couple of years and no issues at all. Video footage was stored to sd card for when I wanted to view it.
Today a large number of items have been stolen from outside my property
Just gone to get doorbell footage as evidence and no videos showing at all! Checked online and everyone is stating you now have to pay for Aiwits cloud subscription to view videos!
Don't waste your money.

Do not buy! They are junk.

Customer service keeps telling me the reasons my doorbells wont work is because of internet connection/rotor/modem isn't working properly or not close enough. That bull, I have all new equipment and my doorbells are only about 20 - 30 feet from wireless modem. I have taken batteries out deleted from app reinstalled it IT DOES NOT WORK! Your customer service sucks the doorbells suck. I guess I've lost that money.

Same as other negative reviews. Worked for 6 months now I have to subscribe to their storage cloud system to view my videos. I don't want or need cloud storage. No mention of this at time of purchase. Underhanded, dishonest and a total scam. Getting rid of it - certainly doing better research next time. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! 0 STARS.

They are telling me I have to pay $1.00 to speak with someone in customer service. I brought a yearly subscription and now they are trying to charge my card for another subscription and I have one had the cameras for 4 months I thought there was 12 months in a year so why are they trying to charge my card for a subscription?

Absolute Rubbish

Really disgusted with this company. My doorbell ring is so bad I am now having to purchase another type from another company. To add insult to injury, I have today attempted to view a recording from early this morning and have been blocked from viewing unless I susbscribe to the Cloud storage facility. Utterly disgusting.

Purchased Aiwit door Camera and it was working good for the first year. Now its not allowing me to up date my credit card info. And is not allowing to see any actively door actively. I will replace this Aiwit camera with Blink Camera

Hello, guys, I bought a phone from 1buy.com, in order to have a better understanding of this phone, u see, online shopping should be cautious, so i turned to their customer support, the service is very patient and considerate. Well, that's a good start, then i compare the price, nice, almost the lowest online. So I soon made the order. Though I choose the free shipping, they gave me a free tracking NO. And not a long time, i got the phone, perfect packed, i opened it, it just looked like what i see from the website, I checked it myself, all the configurations are as the description. I am very satisfied with it. Thanks!

I purchased a camera on Amazon that came with the app almost 2 years ago. It was advertised as FREE CLOUD STORAGE FOR LIFE with a 7 day playback. It was fine for about a year then all of sudden I am not able to view videos and being told I have to pay for cloud storage. I contacted their customer and it was useless. They said that they have to make money so too bad for me and that I have to pay. I went on Amazon to look for a new product on 6-2-2023 and I came across a camera that said FREE LIFETIME CLOUD STORAGE with playback for 3 day with the Aiwit app! I've been messaging with images of the product they are advertising with FREE LIFETIME CLOUD STORAGE for the past week and receive no response. They just keep deleting my messages and sending products that I should upgrade to. The app is bad too. It lags and you don't get notifications that some one is at your door until they've left.

Aiwt door cam

I received my door cam it works well wasn't hard to in stall. I fully charged the battery and didn't have to recharge it for a month. The battery is very good. I really love my door cam it takes really great videos and as soon as someone come close to my door it notify me. I love it and would advise anyone to purchase one. It makes me feel safe should have had one long time ago.

I bought the video doorbell and speaker. I have not had it long and I'm not impressed. The motion detector goes on when there is no motion. If I could return it I would. This is not a reliable doorbell camera. And I don't recommend it.

Sell you a doorbell that has 'free lifetime 7 day storage' within 12 months that was cut doen to 3 days storage free. Now its no storage free.
Have to pay to see any backed up video. At all. Scam artists.

My Daughter Brought 4 Of These Cameras. At Frist they seem Okay. Buy Later Found Out the 2way Communications is Very Bad. Can't Be Understood At All. Also After about 2 Weeks. You Can't Review Previous Videos unless you buy more Cliud Storage.

Customer service is terrible. I called in to find out why I wasn't getting a return verification they were supposed to send and I got is when and where did you purchase the unit. What brand is it. Nothing on the unit says a brand, it is in there web site though! I've owned the unit for over a year and can't remember where I got it!

Why should y'all charge somebody to subscribe the 6 months to a year to keep their stuff on file and they bought the camera all it shows where they can download the stuff to the phone themself y'all stopping me from seeing who's out there in my yard it could be a robber or a killer in my yard I wouldn't know because y'all stop me from seeing it I don't think it's right the way y'all doing the camera and I'm not satisfied with it I was to start with but I'm not now
