I ordered two identical rubber door weather stripping for my truck. When they arrived, I took them out of the box. I installed one on the driver's front and extended cab door. It fit perfectly.
Then I began installing the other rubber weather stripping on the passenger front and extended cab door. I was concentrating on installing the weather stripping and didn't notice for a while that this stripping was about three feet short.
When I contacted 1a Auto the woman told me that I ordered the weather stripping on the passenger door for a three door truck. It is news to me because they don't even make a three door truck in the year of my truck.
The lady argued with me that they didn't make a rubber weather stripping for an extended cab truck. I told her that I ordered one from them and installed it. She finally researched it and found that they did.
I had to have this weather stripping because the old one has already been removed and the one that is too short is installed at the moment.
She wouldn't allow me to return the incorrect one and charged me full price for the correct one to finish my project. She didn't offer me a discount or paid postage or anything for the error that had been made.
I feel that she could have given me some sort of discount for the error that was made.
To say the least, I will NEVER order anything else from these people!

I purchased both the TRQ wiper arm transmissions and the TRQ wiper arms for a 1998 GMC K1500. My concern was that if I used two different brands they may not connect together properly. The transmissions fit in just fine, no issues, but when I went to attach the arms to the transmissions they didn't fit. Neither driver nor passenger arms would attach. There is a little clip on the bottom of the arms that slides back and forth and on both arms, the clip didn't slide far enough over to allow you to slide these arms onto the transmissions. I took a grinder and a 4 pound sledge hammer to the transmission to modify them enough to get these arms on. I really hope that I don't have to remove them anytime soon. They had to be pounded on. The arms don't rest in the right area. The passenger arm is up midway on the windshield. Technically they function, but appearance is 3 out of 5 due to misalignment and fit is 1 out of 5 because they wouldn't go together even though they are the same exact brand. If you are not mechanically inclined to make things work, spend more for something that actually fits as it should. These are going to require you to do modifications to make them fit. I also had to take a grinder to my cowl because the driver side arm was hitting it rather hard. Overall rating, 2 out of 5. I seen one of their how to videos and it was what directed me to their site. It was the first time ordering from A1 Auto.
I have ordered from A1 several times. All orders have been on time and correct parts. When I order from this location. I feel like I just ordered close by. Thank you 1AAuto.

I ordered a part for my car, before I ordered the delivery time said 3-5 days, I chose this site over other sites with cheaper prices because it said it would get to me sooner and I needed to fix my car ASAP. After I paid for the product the estimated time went from 3-5 days to 7-10 days. After waiting 10 business days I noticed that my package hadn't moved in 4 days so I emailed the 1a auto support team asking them if they could check up on the status of the package. They ignored my request and sent me the tracking number again and told me to track it. I emailed them back again telling them I already had the tracking number and that wasn't the issue. They proceeded to email me the same thing again saying I could track it here. This happens another time and finally I've hard enough, it's been 7 days since I was supposed to receive my part and it hasn't moved for 11 days now I tell them that if I don't get info on my part I'm going to do a chargeback on the purchase. Now I finally get a legitimate response and they tell me my package is lost and they can send me another one that will arrive in another 7-10 days. Yeah right. So I asked them if they would expedite or at the very least discount the part I paid for and never received. They denied and decided to refund my card and be done with it. I would never trust this business again. Not only do they seemingly take no responsibility for your purchases but they also don't care to make things right when they've clearly made a mistake. I ordered a pair of "1998 BMW 528i Rear Power Window Regulator With Motor" for a steal of $98. I went to several car part shops and even the junkyards, and all charged over $150 simply for a single Window Regulator WITHOUT a motor. I am a poorass college student, so I wasn't going to pay that much for a USED piece. That's how I came upon 1A Auto's offer of BRAND NEW window regulators WITH motors for $98. They saved me $$$, so I am extremely happy with this auto part store.
Also, I am from Southern California and it took 3-business days to arrive at my home (Ordered late on Mon.; Shipped Tues.; arrived at 3 PM on Fri.).

P. S- I hesitated to order from 1A Auto at first simply due to the reviews. However, after doing my own research, 1A Auto definitely checks out. Plus, people are primarily complaining about the shipping time when all they had to do is READ THEIR SHIPPING ESTIMATE MAP/POLICIES.
I purchased some ignition parts - coil, control module, wires for my Chevy S-10. Would have paid more for AC/Delco parts, but they don't sell them. Needed in a hurry so decided to take a chance, even though there could be a high probability of issues with the ECU. Sure enough, the control module threw a P0351 code immediately upon installation. Put the old control module in and worked fine. Contacted 1A Auto for a return and after jumping though multiple hoops finally got a credit.
Installed the coil, which did not work - no spark at all, so put the old one back in and worked fine. Contacted them again, and after MORE hoops got no where as they seemed to be confused that it was a second return request on same order, and in their simple minds the first return resolved everything. Gave up trying to get a credit for the coil as my time is worth more than the $35 part, effort, and frustration it would take to get those knuckleheads to resolve the matter. I don't like to characterize people that way, but that's the impression they gave me.
So 1 star because delivery was relatively prompt, and you can't give negative stars or I would (-1)

Ok so I literally got my Passenger side Cv axle replaced and used this Site and Not even 2 days bearings clicking.Everything was installed properly yet My Axle is Once again Clicking.
When I bought a frount end ket for my car the bottom of the box was not taped good and a part of the order fell out in shipping and I called and they express mailed the missing part.
William I am so sorry to hear about that, but elated to hear that the situation was promptly rectified. If situations like yours ever arise, 1A Auto treats them seriously.
I ordered a four wheel bearing set to replace all the bearing on my Ford Explorer. When I went to install them I realized two were damaged, so then I checked the boxes they were packaged in to see if there was any evidence of how they were damaged. Then I saw the boxes the damaged bearing were shipped in were labeled to be return to 1AAuto's bearing supplier in Taiwan. The labels had the supplier vendor ID#, 1AAuto po# to them, and a RMA#. 1AAuto actually sent me bearings they already knew were damaged! I tried to call their customer service number but couldn't get through, so I sent them an email. They replied a day later and said they would get back to me in 1 to 4 days. So now 1AAuto, has my money, I have their damaged bearings, and my car is in my garage up on jacks waiting for bearings and there is no plan or commitment from 1AAuto to return my money or replace the bearings. They absolutely have no shame or desire to resolve issues timely or with any accountability. I strongly recommend not purchasing from this company.
I have used 1Aauto several times in the past & all went well.
However, that was not the case this time.
I ordered pads & rotors for my 2002 Chevy Silverado. As always I spent quite a bit of time making sure the product was appropriate for my vehicle. The parts came quickly.
When I went to do the rear brakes, the rotor was too small to go over the parking brake mechanism.
I called them to exchange them. After answering a lot of questions and repeating my issue a few times and after a long wait on hold on the phone, I was told they do not have the proper parts for my truck. But it's OK, I was told - I can return them for a
Refund.
BUT!
The refund was MINUS $110.00 for shipping!
Why am I required to pay shipping for a product which on their website, did not have all the information required for me to select the proper part - or move on because the don't carry the part I need?
I've told a bunch of people about A1Auto & encouraged them to use them.
I will be telling those same people not to do business with them.
I WILL NOT order from 1AAuto again.
The fact that 1AAuto sold me the wrong parts is due to a lack of sufficient information on their website.
1AAuto should pay the $110.00 to return the parts! The error was their responsibility.
I had ordered a ball joint and bushing kit for my truck, along with front rotors/ hubs, when the hubs arrived there wasn't much of a box left to be had both rotors were sticking out of the box and scratched and dented up on the face of the hub portion. Next issue is the hub came with the abs toothed gear on it and mine is non abs so because of the gear it no longer fit the gear had to be heated and pulled or cut off to make work. The website never said anything about an abs ring gear. And then never once recommended to buy an oil seal for the hub, it should come with it since you can't replace the hub/rotors without it. I had to go find and buy local to complete that portion of the job. Now on to the ball joint and bushing kit. When you order it they ask you 7200 or 8600 gvwr, and I chose 8600 because that's what mine is (8 lug) after grinding and cutting off the old ones ( factory riveted on) I found they sent the upper ball joins for the 7200. ( different bolt pattern) after searching high and low locally I located 2 uppers for the 8600 gvwr and they fit perfectly. After calling and giving my complaints I was issued a refund of 20 bucks For the ball joints that don't fit. I couldn't leave my truck in pieces for days waiting for the correct ones to be shipped so I was stuck, so between the cost of the correct ball joints and fuel and my time. $20 doesn't seem to be worth of the situation.
They sent wrong rotors but want me to pay the return shipping 1 star because I can't give 0 I will never use them again
Don't buy from them. Super late on delivery and bad product quality. Go to Amazon, at least your product will show up the day they say.
