This company SUCKS. I wish I had thought to look for reviews. TWO WEEKS AGO I saw their ad, paid $135 for a wheelchair that was advertised as BEING DELIVERED IN TWO DAYS OR IT'S FREE. What a crock! After a week still no chair so I sent them an email. Sent them another one today. All I get off their order tracking is that my order is "processing."
I am going to keep telling the damn crooks the same thing everyday until I hear from them "Either send me the damn chair or give me back my money!"
I hope anyone who reads this review has better sense than I did and does not do business with this bunch of crooks.
I will never deal with this company again! The WORST customer service I have ever had. I ordered a transport chair on a Saturday, needing it the following Friday when we left for vacation. Come Monday there was no word so I sent a message through their contact form. 24 hours later, no reply, so I sent another. Again 24 hours and no reply. We are now at Wednesday and no ship notice and no response to either emails so I called.
I have no idea who I spoke with, their accent was so thick and she spoke so quickly, all I got out of her was that my chair was in shipping or on the truck. I told her I needed it in 2 days or they could cancel the whole thing. She said she needed to check into it and would call me back. She never called back that day.
I did receive an email the next day telling me that my chair was backordered. I was furious and replied to THAT email to cancel the transaction and refund my money. I never heard back from them. I finally filed a paypal dispute and did get my money back, but I never did get a chair for my vacation.
Thankfully I was able to rent one from a medical supply company nearby where we were staying but I still would like to purchase one to have. No way will I even consider this place again, even if they gave it to me for free.
Another bait and switch company. If you do not offer "free shipping" to US zip codes (******* and its in New York also) just state it as such. I had to contact by telephone to find out.
I've order several times and they always delivery. On the phone or over the web, the people seems to know what they are talking about.

Their angle is to give you a free, small accessory with your purchase, which seems so nice. They expedite the light weight, free item, but ship what you ordered two weeks later. Their website claims your purchase is free if not received when promised, but that won't happen either.
WHETEVER YOU DO, don't think your going to return anything to1800wheelchair for a refund! Their website makes it look so friendly and easy! We phoned and emailed them many times, following all of their requirements. They are most acomidating while your talking to them but do nothing! They never respond if you fill out the return form on line. Finally your 30 days have expired and your return window is gone!

My first experience with 1800wheelchair is a disaster! Placed my order yesterday, giving all pertinant info, including email address, and today I could not access the site because my email was invalid and it wouldn't accept my order # either. They had immediately taken my money though.
Spoke to the company customer service and spoke to Christie who told me after being on hold for 10 minutes that my order was backordered. I had recveived no notice of this. I told her to cancel the order. She told me that I would have my money refunded in 2-3 days. I feel if they can immediately take my money, why can't it work in reverse.
Sat on hold waiting for a supervisor, but was told she was on another call. Waiting a while longer and apparently this supervisor was going to be tied up and would email me. How.? The system is not accepting my email. The is completely unsatisfactory. Also, I could barely make out what Christie was saying, although she heard me fine.
1800wheelchair.com is a perfectly fine online store where you can buy scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, and so on. Their customer service is only okay though. I think you can do better by buying on Amazon.
I have ordered several items through this website. They are quick. Usually the item will ship immediately, and I have received a wheelchair in two days. No shipping fee. No sales tax. Great price. And, they do not charge the credit card until the item ships. The item is well-described, and the website is easy to navigate. I can't say enough good things about it.
