This service is confusing upon sign up. You don't realize if you forget to cancel in the seven days they charge you $30 for a year and their policy is no refunds. And although it says $2.50 per month that is also confusing because that is based one dividing the year fee into to 12 months. Eventually they did provide me a refund after they had told me they could not. So I have updated this review accordingly.
Had some difficulty using this service and also trying to contact them for a refund for a card not sent.
Apparently it turned out to be my fault which I found out after they contacted me following a poor review I left.
They should make it easier to contact them to avoid poor reviews but it just shows how leaving a poor review will get you a refund quicker than complaining direct.
I have amended my review to 4 stars as they are now refunding me.
This site has not worked since the week before Christmas, when the most cards are most likely to be sent. You can customize your choice of card with your own additional words to the recipient. Unfortunately, when you hit the send button, all you see is a constant rotating buffering circle going around infinitely. Their Contact Us button is nothing more than a list of FAQ's. Like I said, this site really deserves a rating of 0 stars but 1 star was as low as I could rate the 123greetings.com website. Truly sad how bad this website has become!
There is nothing much lower than a business that commits to providing a service, makes you fill out several boxes of info, and then at the end demands your credit card number to start a 'free' trial that you'll undoubtedly have difficulty cancelling. This is a dirty way to operate and if a company pulls this crap, they will pull other crap as well.
If you dare to use their 7 days supposedly free trial, then don't. They make it very difficult to cancel your membership and when you contact them on day 7 they tell you that your subscription has been renewed for 12 months but you can shorten it to 14 days and they still charge you for £7.99 for that...
There is no number to contact them only by email and of course you don't receive a response on time to cancel during the free trial!... be warned!
I tried a web search with only "123greetings". The result was the first 2 pages were all positive reviews. And they were all from 123greetings.com. That was a red flag for me.
Then I tried "123greetings scam", what a surprise. All negative reviews popped up. Only one said "beware of a similarly named site that is a scam". Guess who it was from. Yep. 123greetings.
I think they would do better if they went into the SEO business.
What an absolute rip-off! You wasted my time by misleading me into signing up with a "promised" free option. Not until I went through the whole process do you drop the bomb that you have to pay. This is false advertising & very disappointing. I even googled how to find the free cards. There were NO free options that I could find on this ripoff site. Don't tell people something is free when it is not!
I used to like these e-cards, but I won't make the mistake of wasting my time again!
Very Dissatisfied Customer
I took the 7 day trial and cancelled after 2 days as the card didn't arrive. I was then charged for a full year and not per month. Even though I cancelled I did not receive any confirmation of this and when I checked my account was still live. Very poor would not recommend
I sent my Mom 2 eCards for her birthday and mother's day and she didn't get either one. I contacted company and they insisted that they did send her the ecards which is a complete lie. 123 greetings sucks!
Neither I nor my recipient received the e-card sent for a 70th bday. This was organised for the 7th of February to be sent that very day. Cost $9.95. I would dearly like to know why this happened (or didn't happen). I don't think I want to use this site again.
I've used this website to send e-cards to my family and friends last Christmas '12. Most of them received the cards. But next time I'll make it like personalized. The ones I chose was for environmental awareness.
PLEASE NOTE: I had accidentally given a bad review to 123.Greetings.com - but my negative experience was actually with 123. Cards, which has rip-off prices and poor customer service including demanding $1 before they answer even one question. Beware of 123. Cards! I apologize to 123. Greetings, which does not charge any fees or advertise sneaky "deals."
Had sent my wife an Anniversary scarf using your website. The card was delivered, but can't open it after typing in card message number. Tried to find the sa! E card, but not found! Waste of time! Don't use!
I was able to easily send numerous ecards without any issue and without a request for any financial info. I believe many of the poor reviews here are actually about other similarly-named sites!
If ethics, values and career growth are your preferences; this company is not for you.
Unprofessional and talentless management with no work ethics.
Typical mindset of being cheap and earning us their only motto.
They will take your original documents to make sure you don't leave the company, cause that's the only way to persuade you to not leave them.
Never ever, go here.
Have been using 123 greeting cards for two or three years and have found it a most reliable website for sending cards to anywhere in the world.
Have tried one or two other sites but compared with 123 greetings they were far less reliable.
Well done 123greetings.

They advertise charging $2.49/mo and then hit you with the full year cost of $30 before your free week is even up, with no warning as they advertised. The cards are lame and this company is a SCAM!
This site is clean and helpful, very easy to use. I also think they have a lot of up and coming animators working on these cards. I have used them many times and will continue to do so in the future! Their cards are sooooo cute!
Ive used this site for years. Its usually convenient and, of course, its free. I sent an e-card and set it up to send on the recipients birthday and not the day I set it up. It sent the same day. I received an email that it was being sent both days and then one saying it had been viewed. I reached out to customer service. Theres obviously a glitch or something with the system. They chose to lie to me and deny they sent the card early instead. Its a free card. It should be simple. Instead they lie for no reason. There are several other sites offering the same service. Ill be using them in the future.
Was looking for a pick me up card for a friend to send online... but what comes up as free for this service is not actually free. Beware of False advertising!
