Bought an item from this company on a compatibility list they had on a headset for my phone. But as it turned out they're list was wrong and was NOT compatible so I had to return it. Now it seems the cost of returning this item is at MY expense as they only offer free shipping on exchanged items not returns. No compromise either. Flat out refused any reimbursement! TERRIBLE customer relations. Stay clear!
Do not order refurbished phones from 101phones.com! Their return policy does not allow refunds. I got an extra handset for my system and it doesn't work. They want me to pay to send it back so they can look at it and decide if they will send a replacement. Don; t be fooled by buySAFE. It only guarantees their shabby return policy, not satisfaction with the product.
I bought a caller ID unit from them... $40.00 After a few months, it broke. Sent the unit back, got a replacement; free. Now it is broken. Two (2) identical caller ID units failed in LESS THAN 10 months of use! GARBAGE! Don't waste your time and/or money on this company's products.
Just received our new $1500 phone and the box was previously opened and the phone was not wrapped inside. There were also packing peanuts inside the Panasonic box which I'm sure Panasonic would never do. I called. They apologized, and now they are requiring that I send the phone back on my dime. Then I see all of these posts and realize they are going to also charge me 10% restocking fee. I will tell you what goes on. This surely smells of scam.
These people completely fabricate reality to their benefit. The site represents new products but they ship used products which is why their prices seem so good. The ability to return something is entirely at your expense and there is no guarantee that what they ship as a replacement is even remotely similar to what you ordered. I would stay clear of this site if you want what you order to be what you are shipped.
I ordered a caller ID box. It totally did not work. It was shipped in an inside-out UPS mailer. They say return in original package which is not possible. I have disputed the charge and now will have to purchase something to send it back. Overseas customer service is terrible.
Beware! Very dissatisfied. They only give 30 days and it took almost 2 of those 4 weeks to get the phone and now I am stuck dealing with another company in another country in order to try to get my money back!
Could have purchased a phone from any company. Chose to speak to a rep because I wanted certain and definite features. I was sent a phone that does not match my request. This lousy company would not pay the return for their mistake and got away with it. My bank just qualified the purchase. Corporate America makes a fool of hard working consumers every minute of every day. This is not right. This undeserving company should have paid to the return the inadequate product. This was due to an underqualified worker. Everybody is getting paid except me. Now I'm stuck with a garbage phone with little features which is completely deficient for my purposes. This company does not deserve to be in business. Just like most, they are not upstanding or they would have paid to return their crummy phone. Utterly disgusted. Another company rips off another consumer. What else is new? Shame on my bank. One more strike and they'll be gone as well.
Don't get taken advantage of. I ordered a replacement battery for my cell phone. It was $17. THEN I found (why didn't I check FIRST? I don't know) the battery on amazon for less than $4. I immediately called to cancel. I was on hold for 37 minutes!. No answer. The recording said my wait time would be 7 minutes. The phone tree asked if I wanted to leave a message to receive a call back so I did--twice. Never received a call back. I did this twice with two different phone numbers. I also sent an email to cancel my order. The only response was to receive another email that said my item had shipped. The moral is do your research.
We have dealt with this company for years up until we have put 3 orders in and they kept cancelling it. They will never call you back. Called 8 times and they never called back. Do yourself favor and not be stressed out by this company - go somewhere else. We have had nothing but stress in trying to place our order. Go someplace else.
I ordered a new caller ID unit, and received a used one with no packaging, wrapped in brown paper in the shipping box, with a badly scratched screen and the menu did not function. I returned the defective item and they charged a restocking fee. The return form clearly stated that restocking fees did not apply to defective items, but they charged it anyway. I wrote them about it and they did not respond.
This is a horrible company. I ordered phones and found they did not have a feature I wanted so returned them for an exchange. The phones that were sent were the exact ones I received the first time. I again returned them for an exchange and spoke to a "customer service" rep who indicated I would receive a small credit for the postage since they sent the wrong phones. When they received the phones they credited my account rather than exchanging the phones. I gave up on getting any phones and called the rep to get the postage credit and was told they would not do that because it was a credit rather than an exchange. I would recommend that you avoid buying anything from this company.
I would never order anything from this company. I ordered a phone and they shipped me the wrong item. When I returned the item, they charged me a restocking fee. I called to complain and they removed the restocking fee but refused to reimburse for the return shipping charges which were almost $10. I understand that policy if I made the mistake or didn't like the item but when the company makes the mistake, they should cover expenses to return it. Beware!
I had no problem finding what I was looking for on the web site. I had no problems ordering too. It was however not what my husband wanted. I have had to request a return for one of my items. I got a response within an hour. They had the lowest price for the item my husband was looking for and we got it quick too. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Ordered an item on ebay. They used another company to fill it. The other company sent the wrong item despite having the right item on the packing slip. By the time I discovered the mistake it was past 30 days and they are refusing to make it right on that basis
101 Phones has a great selection of phones, but you might not get what you expect! I requested a specific ClearSounds phone and was told it was available, but to my surprise I was delivered a different phone which I couldn't use. I bought the one I wanted elsewhere and returned the incorrect phone, only to find out that a replacement was shipped which was not requested. I assume there is high pressure on the sales reps to make a sale once they have you on the line!
Absolutely one of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. They are inept, unprofessional scam artists. We had to return an item twice because it was the wrong product. After waiting over two months for our item (which they kept lying about being shipped), we had enough and requested a total refund. Surprise, surprise... they slammed us with their processing fee for trying to get our money back. Seriously, don't even waste your time with these scumbags--they're out to take your money. Their prices are cheap, but they're cheap to lure customers in so they can ship them the wrong items and jerk them around to collect shipping/processing charges from them. NEVER AGAIN.
First purchase here made me crazy! The inferior quality left me with no other option but return and refund. But my continued debate has gone unresolved.
They sent us an old phone instead of the new one we ordered, and wouldn't pay for shipping to fix their mistake! They also charged us a 10% restocking fee, even though they said they would waive that fee. Very unhappy with the service.
The phone I bought malfunctioned within a week. It cost me more to return the stupid thing than what I was refunded. I wish I would have done a check on this scam company before my purchase!
