on 7/8/15I bought two items: one was real brand name, worn and broken; the other was not a known brand, claimed to be real leather but was not.
Some items ok, however sometimes worn, stained, flawty etc... costumerservice is awfull and sizing a mystery so you can bet 70% return to be expected (in my 5 years experience) - and thats gives a lot of problems! So i stopped shopping here try other store preferabally
I believe the New Rock boots I ordered from Yoox are fake. They retail for $350 and are a well known brand, yet they are covered in blemishes, wrinkles, and the rubber sole has bubbles and pock marks. They have strings where tags would be attached, but no tags. I wanted to resell them but would not be comfortable selling something that looks so bad. Customer service was not good, I would avoid this site.
I just received a designer item and it didn't have a tag attached. There was a "tag" in the box, but any identifying marks were carved off with a razor blade or something. Not to mention my item was filthy. Shockingly dirty, pilled, stained, & clearly used. I'm so disgusted by YOOX.
I have no idea either
Hi Des,
I have mixed experience with Yoox's customer service and they occasionally cancel your order without providing reason, and I could go into other issues with their business. However, I am certain their products are authentic. The two items I ordered and after inhumane effort received were indeed flawless. Also, they are on Shopstyle.com, and I would like to think one can shop safely there. GL.
Authentic
But their after sale service is so bad
Choose your size wisely and you won't have issues
Absolutely authentic! My issue with yoox was that I had place an order and wanted to cancel before the item was shipped. They abandoned my request and sent the item anyway. Read their return policy carefully.
Hey Desmond,
I'm assuming their merchandise is authentic. I've seen a lot of reviews claiming otherwise but here's why I think they are 100% authentic. Yoox started off creating websites for MAJOR designers like Fendi, Moschino, & Giuseppe Zanotti. I think they are more like outlet items. Maybe things that were limited edition & things that just didn't sell well. Also, they have been around since about 2007. In my situation, I believe they didn't quite have the capacity to keep up with holiday orders & their customer service needed more training on how to handle such situations. Hope this helps. See their wiki page too for more info.
100% genuine, with original tags and in perfect conditions. I'm a long time costumer, have bought from them hundreds of times, from clothing to watches and bags, and if there's a site i fully trust it's YOOX.
No they are not fake! Recently purchased a stunning Marc Jacobs Mini - black with nickel hardware - Stam bag! At a brilliant price to boot!
They are authentic. Comes with tags and all. Has worn them and they held up well. Do not look like fakes to them. Since it is good quality. Looks no different from those from the boutiques.
And they are not cheap too.
Its all quality and authentic.
