I am thinking of ordering a Michele Watch head but am hesitant now based on the reviews. Any feedback or suggestions? The item is over $600 so any advice would be appreciated!

I recently bought a fake bag via a Chinese seller on Tradesy and Tradesy verified it as authentic (it was not). Perhaps they did this because technically it's illegal for them to be peddling fakes.

They do not give you a refund, but they will give store credit.

I personally wouldn't buy on Tradesy again knowing that they peddle and support people who are peddling fakes and charging prices for real merchandise... Perhaps the average buyer who doesn't buy couture at retail doesn't know the difference.

Why not try to find a reputable local dealer or buy on eBay?

Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600

As Diane N. Wrote, "Can you afford to loose $600? I would try EBAY before going to Tradesy. Remember, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have little recourse.

I really liked buying through them at first, the items I ordered were all great (all clothes), but it could take 2-3 weeks to receive the items since once the sale was made sellers would have to wait for a shipping kit to arrive for their items from Tradesy before they could be sent to the buyer. Also, I think any company that allows such ridiculously inflated s&h charges simply cannot be trusted. The s&h charges were perfectly reasonable when I first started shopping there, but then all the sudden I was coming across shirts that were $1 + $25 s&h, dresses that were $10 + $18 s&h, just absurd. They would do this of course so that their clothes still came up when you filtered according to price; very underhanded. I emailed Tradesy, never got a reply, and promptly uninstalled the app.

I've sinceStarting using ThredUP and love it. Haven't had any issues at all, receive items in less than 5 days every time, and in fact I received a survey request about how they're doing. I completed it and included 4 suggestions for ways they could improve their app. They replied the next day advising that 3 of my suggestions were already in the works and would be rolling out soon (they were out less than two weeks later), and requested additional details about my fourth suggestion. We ended up exchanging 3-4 emails regarding it and they were grateful for the feedback. I am VERY HAPPY to support a business that so earnestly listens to their customer base!

It's hit or miss with Tradesy. I got a few good things on the site a year ago and earlier, I would message the seller first before even considering ordering. Good luck.

I have only purchased handbags from this site. I have never had any issues. The quality is good and it arrives quickly.

I wouldn't risk it, that's a lot of money to not know if you are getting the real thing. The item I purchased was sized incorrectly I had it professionally measured by seamstress. It was 4 sizes larger than the tag that was down into the dress and they put a new tag on it. Crooks can be very crafty. Even with the measurements and the size chart from the company the gown was supposedly from Tradsey's would not return my money. They would only issue a credit. Save your money to buy one you know is authentic.

Can you afford to loose $600? Ask the seller many questions, verify the Watch is EXACTLY as they claim (proof as a back up plan). If the Watch is misrepresented then you will likely get a refund, if you are not satisfied then you will likely get tradesy credit & NOT a refund. Make sure you use a cc that will back you up/give you a charge back if Tradesy doesn't comply (this is where the correspondences will come in handy). Trust me, sellers lie (take screen shots of the page too in case they pull the listing). My 1st purchase was a brand new, never been carried, no signs of wear LV Bag, it had red marks all over it & a scratch too. I was given a full refund since it was obvious the Bag was used. I consider myself lucky. I would rather pay more & go directly through the Manufacturer to cover any warranties/return/exchange etc... You only have 4 days from delivery to return the item. If it's listed as a final sale you will not even get store credit & you only get a refund if it's misrepresented so make sure it's not a "finale sale" piece. Good luck.

They're getting a lot better, Tradesy. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, they make concessions by your sending it back to them and getting either a full refund (if item is misrepresented) or store credit. Hope this helps.

Do not spend $600.00 on this site. It is too risky. They advertise and guarantee authenticity, but they DO NOT back up their policies. Firstly, there are NO refunds. They tell you that they will make it right if the item isnt real, but they ARE NOT interested in quality customer service after the sell. They will sell you are rip off, refuse to refund your money, and advise you to re-sell the same piece of junk on Tradsey to another unsuspecting buyer. Go to EBAY, find a seller with a 5star customer service rating and who will take an item back if it is not what the buyer expected. Again, DO NOT spend $6.00, let alone $600.00 on Tradsey.
