How can you just see what is available?

Question:

Why has this scam not been shut down?

Answer:

I'm not sure why you think ThredUP is a scam? I have had great luck with purchasing from them, and they have wonderful customer service if you have any issues with your orders or your items sent in. I suggest reading their "clean out" policies before sending items it, and you won't feel scammed.

Question:

Why so many bad reviews about getting such low low $ for new clothes that were sent in??

Answer:

If ThredUp actually tells you that you get 5% back, no one would be using it. Instead, they are shady and hide it behind a chart with relatively inaccurate payout costs. Trust me, I used them 3 years ago then again 2 years ago. They gave me $4 and some change for two bags of brand new clothes the second time. Oh, and you don't get the tax write off for your "donation". They get the write off AND your clothes.

Question:

As per the reviews of the customers few are satisfied and few people are not. so what do i do? i am planning to purchase shorts.if they are not good what is the refund policy?on what basis should i purchase?

Answer:

Unfortunately, they won't do anything for you. My pictures and descriptions did not reflect serious picks and tears on a new with tags jacket. I sent them emails, and they told me that even though my items were switched to, "final sale" after checkout, I would be able to return items not as described. I wasn't able to get it back without an $8.99 fee, which is more than what I ended up paying for the item.

Question:

How do i sign up as a seller?

Answer:

You sign up as a seller as if you were signing up in general. There's a link that takes you to where you can input information to receive a clean-out bag. I don't recommend it though. Try it at your own risk. Hope it goes well for you!
