Is this company legitimate? This was what they sent me when I asked where my order was.

Dear Sherry,

Thanks for your attention and sorry for the inconvenience regarding this issue.

As for the order, we will arrange the shipment to the address you requested.

But before that would you please offer us the attachments to confirm the payment information? Just one copy of your identity card or passport or driving license and a copy of your credit card (for credit card, in order to protect the Security, you can just leave your name and the last 4 numbers, cover the other numbers) via email?

Sorry for all the inconvenience, as it is a large order to us, we have to confirm that whether this transaction has been authorized by the card holder, in order to avoid Credit card Fraud. According to our company policy, we may have to confirm the payment information. Do not worry about it; we just want to make sure that this transaction was indeed made by the card holder, not anybody else, so as to avoid any cases like Credit card Fraud.

Any issues please feel free to contact us.
Hope for your swift reply.

Best Regards.
Lin

Do not give them that information! That is not necessary for making a purchase and would provide everything someone needs for identity theft. So big red flag! Stay far away! And in case you didn't notice, most of the reviews that appear to be positive are written by people who don't speak English very well, so obviously not Americans. So they are a real company, but they have horrible customer service, the quality of their goods is mediocre at best, the shipping time is months if you get it at all, their sizing appears to be geared toward tiny Lilliputian people and you will never-ever-ever get your money back and will end up feeling duped and violated. But other than that, they are totally legit!

Hell no! They are a major scam! Read all the reviews. DO NOT DOES BUSINESS WITH ROSE WHOLESALE - EVER! Plus, the quality of their merchandise is pure garbage. Period.

My order was over $80, but I paid through PayPal and what I received was not what I ordered. Legit... Maybe?! Professional, NO! What you see is not what you get. They are an overseas company. Good luck!

Whatever you do, please do not give your credit card information to these rouges. Remember no legitimate company will ever ask you to provide such information and worst case in an email.
This almost looks like a bad joke.
I would run far away as possible from these thieves.

Definately not, they dont need to have those. They have your details with the order. Complain to the Advertising Standards Agency, or if you are in the Uk complain to Watchdog.

If you have read all the reviews then there is only one conclusion-- SCAM ARTISTS. Do not order anything from them ever. Their merchandise SUCKS bigtime. Under no circumstance should you be sending anyone a copy of your passport! Or any other info.

Cancel your order, cut your losses. Any positive reviews on here are written by the company. If you look at the English, it's written by non English speakers. I know, because I teach English to foreign students. And please ask yourself this question: Would any legitimate company ask you for a copy of your PASSPORT, Driver's License? Credit card? Hello identity theft. Your passport info will be sold immediately on the black market especially if you're an American. This goes way deeper than crap merchandise people. Wake the f**k up.

Though this company is "legitimate", they clearly do not know how to conduct business properly. Unless you pester them, they will give you a $#*! and bull story each time. I will NEVER, EVER order from them again. Though I finally got a partial refund from them, it took close to two months, a bunch of irritating email exchanges, and having to navigate through their bait and switch tactics and a horrid language barrier to get it. This company is NOT worth the headache at all. They are random, inconsistent, and very unprofessional.

They are a scam. That is way too much information to ask for from a legitimate source let alone this sham of a company. Don't do it!

Company is a joke. After numerous attempts to reach them I finally received my order. I ordered extra large. It was like a size 0. Edges as all frayed and what was supposed to be white was yellowish. No response to my getting a refund. Total waste of money.

They wanted personal information from me. If you notice they miss spell words that tells me something is wrong they sent information saying pay pal needed my social security number I know they do not ask this plus they spelled it wrong. I wish I would of read the reviews first, but I learned a lesson before I spent very much. I told them I would sent the wrong item back, they would not here of it.

Hi sherry,
All I can tell you is that they are dodgy. I am still waiting for the 4 items I ordered back in October 2014 or the refund they promised me via email. I would NEVER recommend or use them. As for giving them any form of id, why would they need it? They know you have paid & they would have your delivery address so I would highly recommend that you don't furnish them with this confidential information. The best thing I can recommend is that if you paid with PayPal that you immediately open up a dispute with PayPal so you have a chance to get your money back. I have excepted that after nearly 1year that my money is long gone
Good luck!
Regards,
Suzie

I wouldn't give that information to any online store, especially Rose Wholesale. They are in China and it's my opinion that they will take you for everything they can get. Why do they need it? That is BS.

They are legit... apparently. But, painfully slow and unprofessional in their shipments. The prices may seem good, but... so is Kohl's with their coupons, and they have better customer service and you don't have to wait five weeks to get your order. Mine was orders August 17... and I still have not received it. I had feelings of hesitation when I ordered from them, now I wish I had gone with my gut. **Just DO NOT do it!** Not worth the frustration.

DON'T DO IT! Their products are horrible, the customer service nonexistent and they are a company operating outside of the U.S. They can take that info and create a profile using your information that you know nothing about... they are sleazy at best and possibly criminal at worst...

No they are not LEGITIMATE! Do not send them copies of anything. There is no reason to do so. They are located in China. The crap I received was garbage. SAVE your money. I bought 1 shirt and 2 dresses. None of which I could wear. Shirt had strings hanging from the seams. One dress, The center piece doesn't lay flat. The seams are so uneven. The dress has beautiful color combination. Bright green and pink. But the seams are sewn with white thread. Fits fine The other dress I bought is the right size however, I can't possibly wear. My boobs show as the front does not have the proper amount of covering. I like low cut but this would be obscene. I paid $47+ and was refunded $20.06. And interestingly enough, the package did not go through US customs! Stay away. Far away. Very far away.

They are a total scan. I even googled their address and it is associated with numerous consumer complaints and they have had Federal and trade investigations which seem to be ongoing.

I BELIEVE THAT SOME PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR THE COMPANY COME ON HERE WITH SOME STUPID-$#*! STORY TO SEE WHAT ALL OF US IS SAYING ABOUT THEM. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT, BECAUSE FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE WOULD ASK EVEN SEEING THESE REMARKS ABOUT ROSEWOOD. IF YOU GIVE THEM THE INFORMATION THAT THEY REQUEST, YOU MIGHT AS WELL PLASTER IT ON AOL BECAUSE THEY NEED INFO TO MAKE DUP CARDS AND TO GET YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR BANK ACCT. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW KNOW THAT THEY MAY SELL YOUR INFO TO TERRORISTS? HOW OLD ARE YOU?... THIS COMPANY IS BULL$#*!, AND THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE NEWS AS WELL AD TV, AND ALL ON FACEBOOK. LOOK THEM UP...

It is legit, but do not give them this info. Just give them order nr. And conformation email of your order. More than that is your personal info and they should not even ask for it.

I know all you answered a long time ago... but that just happened to me w/ zaful... they wanted a picture of the credit card or a picture of my credit card statement... which I did have a bigger order... but I wrote them back and said I never had this problem with any other company in my life and I'm not sending anything else to them and to cancel my order... I'm not giving that kind of $#*! to them especially when I have ordered from 100's of other places and was never asked to do that... I did find Rose Wholesale then because most of their stuff is the same as zaful so I'm assuming they're the same people that run both and then I put in... is this company legit and this is where it took me... they are cheaper then zaful but it seems odd that both these company's have your credit card info... and then they write and say they need a picture of it or a cc statement and they did say something about a picture of your drivers licence as well... I rather pay more for $#*! on a legit site then to have to give that kind of information out.

Wish I had read reviews first. I think they are legitimate but unethical. My guess is they wait until they have enough orders for items to make a large cheap purchase from Chinese distributor - which is why it takes so long to get things. The items I received seemed to be good quality but not even close to the correct sizing. XL is actually an XS. Have had no response from company about my issues.

That seems strange that they would ask for that type of information. In my experience with them it wasn't good. They showed me a picture of my package with my address as if they sent it. I don't trust them. I wouldn't buy anything from them, that's why I made the comment that I did and I'm grateful to this site to be able to warn others not to shop and be deceived with this company. That old saying if it's too good to be true it is. I would cancel my order disputed with your credit card company and move on. I hope this helps.

Hi
My order was only $12. If you ordered a lot then maybe they do that. But if your reply came through the rose wholesale reply function it would be them. The business is real but they are badly badly badly organised. I bought a top and it never arrived they kept saying check post office because they don't send to home address but post office will always send a card letting us know we need to collect a package. It took me months of waiting, then they said they would refund or resend, it took more months of waiting then I said I just want my money back, they sent me a reply saying they will send me item again or give me store credit, I said he'll no! I want my money back now or I complain to whatever Authority I can like consumer affairs etc. So they did refund me within a couple of days. To be fair, rose wholesale is legitimate they do get around to doing the right thing eventually but they have way too many operational problems to be of an acceptable standard in business.
I can't see the problem with giving them some details about credit card as its not all of your numbers and they probably are being extra careful because of credit fraud. But I wouldn't use them again unless reviews started getting more positive. Also I hear from a majority of reviews that 8 out of 10 items are badly made. Good luck!

@Sher L. - Yes, RoseWholesale IS a legitimate company. I have ordered from them twice and received both of my orders, no problem. The first time I ordered from them, I was also asked to provide my ID, for payment verification. They are not the first company to request this from me, as my CC billing address and my shipping address are different and actually in two different countries. They are simply trying to protect themselves from being involved in CC fraud. The most recent company that asked me to provide my ID before processing my order, was Auto Parts Warehouse, a U.S. company.
