Question:

Answer:

There is no way to contact POF by phone. Try clicking the 3 dots in the right hand corner, and then pretend that you're reporting a profile, click "I don't like it" and the bottom. Then you will have a chance to leave a message for the customer service with your issue. I think they want the profile photos to be square. To achieve this, try adding white spaces with Paint program on PC. Much faster than contacting POF CS.

Question:

Answer:

To begin with don't waste your money on this site. Not everyone is fake but the majority are either after sex, cheating on someone, promoting sex/porn sites, on the rebound, full of issues or are sociopaths. I'd suggest you find a much better site or find someone in real life.

Question:

Answer:

It's not worth becoming a paid member. All it gives you is the ability to see if someone's read your message or not, and to see new members a few hours before non paid members. The site is truly awful in every way.

Question:

How can a so-called dating site just delete someone's profile for no reason and without warning. just because you blocked someone or wasn't interested in someone so they're mad and report you for no reason other than they were rejected. wtf what kind of bs is that how can you have so many users if you delete people for no reason and without warning

Answer:

The site is filtering using your email account User name, its auto ware... Then when the system sees your back poof removed, It also can use IP based along with email so even if you create a new account Email, it will see the same IP address and poof again... Give up use Match.com its safe reliable and not too expensive and I went out many times from that site never can get a day without account getting deleted on the POF fake site its a now a money scam only..

Question:

Why was my account deleted a day after i joined and i can't log in

Answer:

Because it's a possibility that the people that you made contact with via the app were scammers or people that didn't like what you had to say... So they had your account reported, and POF does not rely on common sense when deleting accounts it relies on a machine that has no sense of dignity. So your account got deleted because some jerk decided they didn't like what you said and reported

POF maintains a database of users pictures, e-mail, and phone number. When they ban you, then all 3 are flagged if they are used for a new account and lands that new account in ban too.

Question:

I had pof for a few days and upgraded, then deleted my account and now i'm back how do i get my upgrade back. my user name is brightw123

Answer:

If you're trying to create a new profile using the same description text and username as you had before then POF seems to automatically delete these. I believe it's a bot that scans and recognises them and makes the assumption you are a scammer. When i was a member I had to use a different email account, have a new username and new text to prevent it being deleted. If you just want to rejoin and have created a new profile using all the same info and it's not been deleted then I guess you'd have to contact the admin and ask to have your upgraded status back. However, they may say that was for your old profile that you deleted and you'll have to pay again. My advice would be to ignore the upgrade and use it free as the upgrades do nothing. As a woman you'll get a lot of attention anyway!
