Yes for non clothing looking at the amount of similar complaints to myself I would say they are a scam. There is not one positive message on their Facebook page so not quite sure how they managed this many stars on here

Where I had an issue is that they think XXL is the size of a Medium. They claim they sell to over 200 countries. This means that north americans are 4 times bigger than the people of these 200 countries. What is silly is that they make clothing for north america. There is no logic in what they are doing. If you are small and very short boby, you'll be ok. If you're small but tall, expect to show your navel.

I bought my daughters prom dress. It took 2.5 months. For the price of $75 for a cutom made dress. Wedding quality. Very happy just a long wait. And remember the sizing is really small. My daughter ordered a large and she is tiny and it fit. Follow measuring instructions

Good luck
Susan

I saw a video on their website of a Tablet that looked really good. It was fast and very responsive. 16g for £80.00. I bought it and when it arrived it was in a 16g box but the Tablet was only 8g. I paid £40.00 import taxes and so it was very expensive for what I got. The Tablet is very unresponsive and quite useless for surfing. I have tried every trick in the book to speed it up but its still bad. There is no name to the machine i. E Galaxy etc it just says unknown. These 'unknown' machines are known on the net and the general advice is to stay away from them. Wish I had found that before I bought it. I think the video of the machine in action on their website was speeded up to make it look good. Pointless sending it back. Expensive to return making it even worse. I use it to play back videos which it does fine but if you want it to surf the net its useless. Also the sound is very bad.

I'll say "No." I've bought a lot of items from LITB on different occasions and had no issues. They're far from scam. They're reliable

No, they are not a scam. I have had my orders without problems and been able to get to customer service. You need to read the initial instructions so you can understand how things are done on this site. In the reviews I found a reply from one of the Reps on the LITB site and they say to get in touch with customer services try... http;//www.lightinthebox. Com/knowledge-base/c1192/a2974. Html. Also they say the taxes are charged by our own countries ' rules not theirs so check what extras you may have to pay before you send your orders. To get any replies try logging in and going to your orders, click on the order number you are asking about and if there is a reply you should see it there. I recently bought two dresses, a bag and jacket and all were fine. Took a while coming but if you go for standard post you will have to wait. Sometimes if they run out of the item you want, you may have to wait for them to restock it then send it on to you. Bye... Happy shopping. Lynda

Are they scam? Of course they are NOT scam. They are a bona fide company. Ok so some of the stuff may be the wrong size, and not equal to what you find in european sizes or US sizes but they do have a size chart with the garments measured by inches or centimetres for you to check your measurements with the garment's on sale. So if you made a mistake your fault, not theirs. And I completely disagree going by my experience that they cannot be contacted. You can and they contact you back within 24 hours. One bad experience does not make fo a good overall review of their excelkent customer services, their products or their honest business practices. And no I am not paid by them to write good reviews, just an ordinary very satisfied on the whole customer. Get your stuff expedited and you will receive your goods within 5 to 6 working days.

Yes they are.

I ordered a Zmodo wireless IP camera kit worth ~ $300. Never received the product. There is no customer support. The is no way you can speak to customer care team in real time. Only way to communicate and raise your query is either by e-mail or by that $#*!ty ticketing system.

I don't trust them.

I can only go on my experience. Find the product elsewhere as if there is a problem, like me you will be out of pocket with no product and no way to contact them!

I wouldn't call them a scam, but I wouldn't call them very reliable as I was not told everything about my order, particularly the customs charges that may be associated with your shipping. While my items were perfect, for me I just wouldn't order again for fear of something being wrong and not being able to send it back like I can with something that I order stateside.

Ummm, you get what you pay for, meaning if you want quality you should shop some place else. They ship from China so it takes super long once you factor in all their holidays and the delays with customs. Plus their sizing is super small! A large would fit my 11 year old daughter who is 4'11 and 80 pounds.

Four weeks of shipping from China was not what my daughter orderd! We never received an order number so it wasn't possible to track the parcel. Neither did we get any mail for verification but they got their cash instantly from my account. So she finally received her bag from China- and both handles broke the first time she used the bag. Scam? Think so!

LITB is not a scam. I have bought over 20 made to measure (100 - 250 dollars) items and the tailoring has been very good. And the service reliable. Always on time and always well boxed rather than plastic post bag. More recently they have broadened into lots of cheap stuff from 3rd party suppliers and quality, sizing and delivery appears to be the same as 100 other Chinese websites. You pay 25 you get WalMart quality. You pay 150 to 250 you will get what you pay 500 for on a usa website. Reccomend the ruby bandage maxi. Just like in pics, quality rayon and super sexy. Jen

No they are not a scam. You have order your items with priority mail and keep a tracking number. You have to use their email to correspond if you're u have any issues because they donnot have a customer service phone line. They are an over seas company and are not perfect but do try and make the customer happy. Sometimes shipping is not on time but they have great products at great prices. Theresa
