It shouldn't according to their own policy which states 1 business day for non prescription orders: https://www.ezcontacts.com/help/faq/shipping-and-handling Eyeglasses & Sunglasses Orders placed before 2:00pm EST will be processed that same business day. When ordering prescription lenses with your Eyeglasses or Sunglasses, allow 3 - 5 business days for your custom lenses to be made by our optical lab. Note: Some items may take 1-2 days before it reaches our warehouse. Contact Lenses Orders placed before 2:00pm EST will be processed that same business day. Instock contact lens orders ship out within 1 - 2 business days. Order Delays If your order will experience a delay due to a backorder, credit card verification problem, or availability problem then we will notify you via e-mail within 24 hours.
I wouldn't order from ezcontacts. The glasses I ordered in 2018 sat unshipped for 3 weeks before I spent 45 minutes on the phone to get my refund. Then I stupidly ordered contacts two months ago which are also still sitting unshipped, with no reply to my inquiries, so I guess I have to call them again to get a refund.
Last time I ordered frames from ezcontacts they held my payment for 3 weeks without even beginning to process it. Then I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone to get a refund. I stupidly ordered contacts from them in the beginning if July, and today is 8/3 and the order is "in processing" with no reply to my inquiries. I hear they used to be good, but I'll never order from them again.
