Yes, DO NOT USE their service! Just rent a vehicle directly from the company like Hertz, AVIS, etc

I do lots of research. I go directly to the car rental companies and then compare on other sites like Kayak or Hotwire. Sometimes it's cheaper either way. And the prices change all the time depending how early you reserve. I really got snookered though when I used Economy Bookings. Beware of this company. They are bad news.

Answer:

Yes. We were promised a rate of $16.49. When we arrived at the counter they wanted $580.00 for us to complete the rental (for an economy car in Mexico!)

Answer:

Paid for car hire for 17 days in UK. Paid for extra insurance at time. When i went to poick up car I was told that I need to pay an extra £20 per day. They would not recognise that i had already paid for additional insurance with economy booking. I tried cancelling booking at booking.com. They were unhelpful. I am waiting to hear from my my credit card company to see if I can recoup my payment

Not always You need to pay insurance separately at times. Some rental companies make it mandatory to buy some insurance from them

I never use economy booking company again. Scamers. I have prepayreservation. Confirmed from company day of my rental no payment received. I need pay so much more. After 3 hours on rental company, never use or loose. They dont ansfer phone leave you wait 25 min on hold after disconected, e mail to director nobody bother to ansfer, very hard to get my money back they ruin my vacation, rent only with rental car company not economy booking. Lol. They don't do refunds just charges to your card. Plus their agents are short with words and hang up. Maybe you get lucky
