Everything was ok. Very professional service, very fast. The packages arrived in only one day from Frankfurt to Cyprus.
It's hard to find any information about what's been happening with borderlinx at its UK/Germany/HK sites, but the website is now down (10 June AEST), so there's simply no way to monitor the situation. It's insane that our packages will be forfeited, it's a horrible outcome, and shows how illusory 'protection' is in this freight forwarding game. I count myself lucky that the monetary consequences are modest, though my purchases were hard to find items. Good luck to all trying to recover from borderlinx!

Basically, have had plenty of bad experiences with these guys. But this one beats the rest. Borderlinx basically packed a really small item in a massive box to charge me ridiculous amounts on the shipping! Just when shipping is based on volume! When I asked them to repack, they said they cant! Proof is attached too. These guys are a bunch of con men. All of them working there!

If you have packages stranded in their warehouses (as in my case) you can lose all hope of getting them back. They closed the UK warehouse 3 weeks ago, they applied for bankruptcy in the US since June 13 (case # 2:18-bk-*******, Washington Western Bankruptcy Court), and the last man standing in the chat box (Mohammed Taha) decided to stop lying this week and is plainly stating that there is no hope for us to finally get those packages. I guess they already disposed of all that merchandise, and of course they will never pay back for it nor for the shipping costs they eagerly charged even after suspending their services. TIP: you can try to get shipping costs back from Visa by claiming for services not rendered.
Completely irrelevant items are evaluated as 'prohibited item'. Like, windshield wiper blade, auto brake pad, auto diagnostic tool... It will take you to write several emails, sending links of the product, sending the invoice and minimum one week wait so that somebody in the warehouse will look again to the item and tell "Oh yes, this is not a prohibited item". If I was asked a few months ago, I would recommend them but customer service and warehouse team has been failing since a while.
Waste of money ( shipping value is 3 times more than estimated cost even doubled the product value)
Waste of time ( Almost 2 weeks and my parcels are missed even i had 2 items in my account that doesn't belong to me!)

My $6 package for my artificial flowers cost me $130 to ship.
I had ordered a toy and the person entering in the toy dimensions in the system forgot to enter a decimal place and therefore system was charging me 300$ to ship a toy that cost me only 10$.! So be careful.
Take ages to update their portal once they receive a package at their warehouse. Very slow and very inconvenient. If you do have to use borderlinx, do so at your own risk.
Its been 5 days now since the shipment is received at Dayton OH hub. No one in customer service has a response for the delay. My client has already charged me delay fine of $200. I regret for the decision taken to ship it through Borderlinx. Guys please do not fall in tonthis trap. The company is unorganized and can unprofessional in this business. Stay away from Borderlinx.

I have ordered an iteam thru ebay. I needed to pay twice because the first time it got returned to the warehouse for no reason. So effectively i had to pay custom taxes twice and now they are not paying back the money.
Worst, WORST customer service doing claims they cannot held "we will answer within 2-3 days" and they dont answer. Needed to took action myself.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. IT WAS GOOD BUT NOW IT IS HORRIBLE
I logged in to find the item was no longer available to ship as there US warehouse had ceased to operate and we not notified in anyway. After contacting them we were advised that all items that weren't shipped prior to the 20th of May 2018 was abandoned and surrounded to the company.
We missed this apparent deadline by one day and like many believe this is theft and we now consider our items stolen and will report this to the proper authorities.
The company is a scam. The parcels are stuck (in the best case scenario) in the warehouses and there is no any alternative solution since everything is shut down. The customer service is keep saying lies (if you cannot reach them through the chat button try from another computer to open the chat window without logging in to your account).

I am currently facing a big problem with borderlinx,
I have only 2 items stuck in UK since last week on hold,
And in the same time one item in the states from last week showing only one message they received the information of this item,
It seems to me that they are facing a big problem with DHL, where currently they are loosing their time commitment confidence and accordingly we have to start looking around for another ways,

Contacted company 3 times and had 3 tickets raised about item with verified tracked delivery via USPS with statements saying Id be contacted within 1-2 days. Ive had zero response. I raised a 4th query today and told I will escalate to warehouse. No answers. Ive used this company a number of times before and been happy but now the trust, which is the most important factor for a company getting YOUR PARCELS has completely gone. I recommend not to use this company & I never will again.
I have used Borderlinx professionally several times, and the service and reliability has dramatically changed since they moved to a newer warehouse. It takes longer and longer for a package signed off for to be added to a suit (up to 8 days) and my last shipment still is not send after being released 2 weeks ago.
The worst is that they do not inform you of the situation, customer service is a joke with standard answers and no help at all and claims or compensations can supposedly only be made when the goods have arrived or the goods are lost by the forwarder (DHL). In this case the goods are still somewhere at Borderlinx, but nobody can tell me where.
I have no information to give to my customers, I lost money on this and I can't get any true help from Borderlinx.

Avoid and use other services. There are tons out there.
Borderlinx have stolen my items, and probably tens of thousands of others too. I was not notified of the US Hub suspension, so I could was not aware of having to retrieve my packages by 20 May 2018, nor were a number of other Australians I'm now finding. Many more people are totally unaware right now of what has happened, as Borderlinx are continuing to issue automated emails regarding packages to be released, as though nothing is wrong. As soon as you complain, they remove the records of your shipments and they all say, "sorry for the inconvenience, they were treated as abandoned". There needs to be a class action for litigation against this company, otherwise we will not receive any compensation.
Amazing service, fast and efficient. I will use it more often for sure. And the transfers cost are very affordable.

My item was delivered to the German DC on 27/10 (almost 6 weeks ago). After repeated emails and contact saying they would 'get in touch with the warehouse and advise ASAP' they have not located my parcel and have stopped communicating with me entirely. This is the worst mail forwarding company, it's hard to fathom how they are legally trading as a business.

They are very unreliable and charge huge custom duties which your country cannot even charge half of the amount.

I had a really bad experience plus charges came up sky high. Not to mention the site looks amateur. Only positive thing is that CS seemed very quick in their responses.
Worst service ever! Charges 3 times more than any other company, delayed shipments and - they did what no one else in the world did - they will make you pay tax in Saudi! I am from Saudi and we do not pay taxes and when I wrote that to their representative his response was to either pay or I dont get my shipment!
Not to forget, when you go to the final page to pay, Taxes + fuel recharge + many meaningless crap to rip you off will be added.
Stay miles away from this company, it doesnt get any worse!

I ordered an item for the first time with Borderlinx, and now never again. It takes them 2 days to update that they have even received a parcel, they increase the weight and dimensions, provide only the most expensive delivery method, and unable to re-pack the same even though the website mentions it.
When contacted, they take days and days to respond back! Terrible service!
