My sister and i want to do the program, but she just had a baby and has to wait a few weeks before she can exercise (once her doc gives her the all clear, hopefully in 2 weeks), is it worth us starting now with no exercise or should we wait til she can exercise? we really want to do it together, and we have a fair bit of wait to lose. thanks

Hi, can i use salt, pepper and lemon in my meals for 3 week diet?

Answer:

I used salt (only good sea salt or Himalayan salt) and pepper in my meals. I would think you would have to look into how much carbs are in lemons and their juice before using it.

I'm not considered as an overweighed person. however, i'm dying to lose 10-12 lbs that i have gained within the past 2 years to get back to the shape of me 2 years ago. is this diet suitable for me because i was told that the thinner you are, the harder it is to lose weight fast. thanks for all the help and advice!

Answer:

I'm in a similar situation as you. My normal "happy weight" is 113-115 and I gained 15 lbs of stress weight last year that I've been struggling to get rid of. I'm in Day 4 of this diet now and I've lost 6.2 lbs! I'm sure it will start to slow down but yes, this definitely works even if you don't have a lot to lose.

When do you have the whey protein?

I wasn't sure at first, but I started days 12-21 and I used it for the first 1 or 2 meals and had regular food (watching carb grams) for the other 1 or 2 meals. I lost a few pounds on this phase, but did the best on the first 7 day phase. I feel like it reset my eating habits - which is what I was hoping for. Good luck!

Can you drink milk and have coffee? it's all i need to know.

Answer:

Hi. The first 11 days you can only drink water - a gallon a day - it sounds like a lot, but you feel less hungry. After that you can drink coffee - they actually say it is good to drink coffee in the morning. I don't usually drink milk so I don't recall if it is allowed after that for days 12-21. But please don't let that discourage you because it's only been 4 days I've lost 7 lbs. and I'm not really heavy to begin with.

I read the entire book and followed it religiously. so far i only lost 5 lbs and gained it all back when i started on phase 4. my bmr said i should only eat within 1390 cal/day. i am always under 1100 cal. i even downloaded the app calorie counter so i can track my carbs, proteins adn fat intake. still gaining. what is wrong with what i am doing?

Answer:

You may be eating too little, or the quality of the food you are eating isn't there, or you are not eating the correct micronutrients for you metabolic type. Did you follow the diet religiously or did you have some cheats? Also this book is meant for healthy people, so if you have hormonal imbalances, you may need to fix those first
