It was terrible service and after I couldn't find what I needed and cancelled my trial subscription. Almost a month later they billed me credit card for a whole month that I'll never use at all an the the don't have a clear way to get my money back, bull$#*! trap site...
I was erroneously charged for two separate subscriptions for three months and when I contested and asked for a refund, they required me to give them my bank information and said they had no account information or data of my checkmate account because I had canceled them the previous day upon discovery of the double charges. Total fraudsters. Probably a company run by filthy disgusting H1-B Indians that still wipe their butt with their bare hands.

I was trying to find my father's military records. This site did not list any military service, only showed two of his five children, did not show his marriage to my mother, no work history and showed him living in a town where he never lived. Complete waste of time and money.

I have a Premium membersip with Whitepages.com and have been quite happy on the whole. A week ago I was looking up an old acquaintance...don't know how it happened but I have had popups a few times a day on my desktop from INSTANTCHECKMATE.COM EVER SINCE! I have tried to block it in every way I know possible...except of course I won't contact them, they aare the sleasziest spammer/scammer out there. Do not have anything to do with them; you will regret it.

I was charged over $45 for ba report that when I clicked said $3.99. I'd give 0 stars if possible 3 charges to my bank and literally no real information. Canceled in 5 minutes but they seen to be cookie cutter responses to reviews with no actual resolution

This business put my email and password on the dark web. After much difficulty I was finally on the phone with a staff member, but it got me nowhere. Take my advice and don't give them any personal information. I will take matters on my own and get.to the bottom of this. Now I have to change my password. Not a happy camper.

If I were to buy another subscription from any of the sites on the internet I suggest using a cash app card etc and only the right amount in that account so they can't keep charging. Be sure to turn off over draft pertection. I only purchased one subscription for $29.99 then I added two extra features for $2.99 each. Within 2 weeks I was charged for another $29.99 and multiple charges for $13.99 $7.99 $4.99 $2.99. I've been haggling with them for over a week and don't think I'm getting anywhere. I tried one more. I tried another app for $0.95 for 5 day trial but on the same day they charged me 3 times for total $69.97 I canceled by the time the trial was up. It was bout a week later when I saw the charges so I contact them by email and was told that it's company policy NOT TO GIVE REFUNDS which I think it should be illegal to do that. They said I didn't give good enough reason to warrant a refund as well. I've had it with these companies. Even after I canceled the subscription I still get charges.

People I don't know, and addresses and phone numbers I don't recognize were inserted into my information. My marital status was nonexistent, which is a problem because I am trying to date. My daughter's information was totally made up! I wouldn't trust that any information is true since mine was so off. This is a dangerous service!

No marriage on anyone I looked up - all had been married; some multiple times. No death information on people that had been deceased for years. Criminal records not complete - knew of multiple convictions on multiple people that did not show up. Address information incorrect in most cases.

I cancelled our subscription and got a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Next month I was charged again. Called and was told I had only cancelled one account. I only had one account. Scam!

Answer: No, you can't see anyone's call log or texts. At first it was 1.98 to receive access to the report. Then once I paid the 1.98 I selected "access report" (again) then I was promoted to select a membership Lowest being 22$. Most options tell you that you're paying that amount the same day but the cheapest membership didn't say you would be paying the same day but you are. So roughly 24$ to see what you could've found on Google. When you get to the phone log part it says "you're stuck" or some bull crap probably pay more money which is unreal as you have selected a membership already. This is a rip off there's just now around it smh
Answer: Contact your credit card company, tell them that InstantCheckmate is making unauthorized charges to your card; have your credit card company cancel your card and issue you a new one. I know, it sucks. That's what I had to do. For several months I got "declined payment" indicators listed in my online credit statement, which was good, because InstantCheckmate couldn't get their fraudulent charge to go through. The police, the FBI, or FTC or somebody needs to crack down on InstantCheckmate. I guess maybe it'll take a class action lawsuit against them. But really, the wisest thing to do is to cancel your credit card, have a new one issued -- and be extremely cautious and careful from now on to whom and where you use and give your credit card number. I know, it's a pain in the a##! Good luck. Cheers.
