“Old age ain't no place for sissies”, or so Bette Davis famously said. And things haven't gotten any easier: seniors today are subject to increasing numbers of sophisticated internet scammers....
They are scammers & thieves. I ordered paying through PayPal, asked for delivery before payment. They deducted the payment before delivery. There followed a string of emails...promises, excuses, promises, more excuses. They strung out their contacts past the 45 Paypal limit and escaped with about $60. A recent promise a week ago in response to a demand for refund promised that. No response in a week. I wish I had consulted this site beforehand.
My experience was similar to another recent review - I booked an apartment for 28 days in NYC. Several amenities that were listed were not there, such as tv. There was even a picture of a flat screen tv in the ad for this apartment and the tv amenity had been checked off on the site. The description of the apartment was generally misleading.I tried to sort it out with the host, but it wasn't working and I decided to cancel my reservation. I raised a dispute with airbnb. I've rented successfully on airbnb a bunch of times, have good reviews and enjoy the human element of it, But this one time I had a problem and actually needed help from Airbnb, they really seemed to side with the host from the beginning. Before the dispute I was prepared to just pay for the nights I was there and really expected them to refund the entire balance, since the listing clearly violated the policies and standards they listed on their website. But they said a cancellation fee of $50 a night would apply to every night I had booked, which I may get back if the host rebooks. The host sent me a really rude email blaming me for treating him like a hotelier and saying I should have double checked if he had tv…eeeerrr… yes. Airbnb seemed to think this was reasonable. I really like the idea of what Airbnb is doing, but this experience gave me an uneasy feeling. Their approach seemed more about a policy decision to keep hosts at all costs, even when they violate the Airbnb policy. THey kept the whole fee I had to pay based on a 28 day booking, even though I cancelled that booking and they will collect new fees during that period of time.
I started this site an sign up 3 weeks ago,But have not receive any payment at all I ask for $285 dollars to be deposit but haven't gotten a dime yet! Now that's a shame I'm still waiting on my payment an even gave them my Paypal to deposit my Money. This has harden me greatly.. I'm so sorry I've shared this with my friends on facebook and Twitter. But this to shall Pass...
I shop on Amazon so much that I swear, if I walked into one of their warehouses, they'd recognize me. I've been shopping there since their beginning, back when they only sold books, and now I can find anything in the world there, which is pretty amazing. I've never had a bad experience with Amazon, whether I'm buying directly from them, or one of their 3rd party sellers. The very few times that I haven't been happy with a product, I was able to return it for a refund with no problems whatsoever. If there was a problem with the item, they paid return shipping. If I just didn't like it, I paid the return shipping, which seems fair. Whether I'm shopping for books, toys, furnace parts, electronics, sea salt, boots, or any of a million other things, I can usually find it on Amazon at better prices than anywhere else. Unless I'm shopping for handmade, I always check Amazon first when I'm looking for something specific. I also find it to be a great place to shop for gifts for those hard to shop for people on my list because for many products, I can narrow the search options down to gender and age. That's priceless.
Wanelo is addicting. Too often I find myself spending way too much time looking at pretty pictures (and then buying whatever's in the picture) and not enough time working. They've changed the layout and tools several times since they went live, and at times I haven't been a fan, but I think it's pretty cool now. It functions well (most of the time) and it looks gorgeous! I really like how our categories/lists are shown as collections on our front pages. I like to post items to Wanelo, and I enjoy discovering all of the finds from other internet shoppers and browsers. As a seller of handmade, Wanelo's a great site to show off some of my goodies, as well as the items from my crafty artists friends.
I have two shops on ArtFire, and I love it there. The customer service provided by the AF staff can't be beat. They clearly understand that without their sellers, they have no business, so they cater to our needs better than any other venue I sell on, including Etsy. The tools they provide for us (the sellers) are plentiful, and I find the site to be easy to navigate and work on. The forums are full of helpful information, and helpful sellers who enjoy helping newbies (and confused oldies) with their shops. I also shop on AF a lot, and have never been disappointed with a product or the way I was treated by a seller. I've purchased supplies, handmade bags, scarves, bath and body products, crocheted gloves, fine art, jewelry, wood work, and countless other items. It's not very often that I can't find exactly what I'm looking for on ArtFire when it comes to something unique and handmade. For people to blame ArtFire when they get burned by a specific seller isn't really fair. ArtFire has nothing to do with that, but they will try to contact sellers when there's a problem, and if the problems persist, they close the shop. They don't want our shoppers to be ripped off! There isn't anything they can really do if something like this happens because ArtFire doesn't have the money, the seller does. That's why it's very important to file a dispute with PayPal or your credit card company within the 45 day window when there's a problem, whether it happens on ArtFire, Etsy, Zibbet, eBay, or anywhere else.
The worst customer service experience I have ever had EVER! I ordered 6 items from iHerb.com and only 3 of them arrived. When I asked about it (thinking maybe the package had been separated into two) they claimed "We do not re-ship orders internationally" (I am in Australia) 1) No where on there website does it state this as a policy for international orders 2) Technically it's not re-shipping if the item has been forgotten in the first place. They then stated that they would be refunding me in 'store credits'. I advised that this was ABSOLUTELY not okay and could they please either send me my items or refund my credit card. They then sent me a confirmation email for the amount i was owed advising it would be refunded. Was that the end!??! OF COURSE NOT! A few hours later they sent ANOTHER confirmation email advising that a different (lesser) amount would be refunded. This amount WAS actually refunded (to my surprise) but they still owe me the remainder which I have now enquired about FIVE times, the first being almost two weeks ago now. So far they have been ignoring me. Really immature and pathetic. Strongly recommend staying away!
I purchased a pair of shoes for myself. I wear a size 8, but ordered a size 8.5. Well, they were so small I couldn't believe it. I even checked inside the shoe to be sure there wasn't an error. I contacted them for return, and they wouldn't give me my refund. I have to accept a credit to their site. I expressed my feelings about not being able to get a refund, and they tell me that because of their discount pricing, they don't refund. What a bunch of bull. After reading the other comments on this site, I wish I had checked them out before I made purchase with this company. I think the shoes were defects….they couldn't possibly be a size 8.5. Don't deal with this company…they stink.
Terrible products. The lowest qualty. I have ordered dual sim phone and received one with only one sim pocket working. No responds from aurabuy to my e-mails. Stay away from the tiefs.
I am also a victim of purchasing fake shoes on this site as they represent as the real deal and stealing the logo. It do bad we have to be victims with little recourse.
I had a nasty experience with nomorerack. Wish I had checked reviews first. I was deactivated first because my shipping and credit card addresses differ. Then they have the nerve to ask that I scan a copy of my ID and email to them if I want my online account to be reviewed for re-activation. Honestly, who does that. I want my money back and never to want ever buy or see anything from them. Meantime, I still receive daily deals from them. I seem not to find the unsubscribe button in those emails. I refuse to buy from bogus online deals
"Im disappoint with Everbuying.I made and pay the order E1311031927256142 past 3 of November. The order shipped 11 of November ; today 13 of December still I haven’t received the order and is the 25 th working day (the time you need to send to Southamerica,not to Spain,that its in Europe) and still haven’t received; I want to make and Enquiry in Singpost because Everbuying´s costumer service answered to me yesterday (I waited 3 days for an answer)with the information that I know, and check everday in the Singpost Website: incredible answer from Everbuying after 25 working days was shipped; to make the Enquiry I need the Sender details(Name, Address, Postal Code ,Email, Fax number, Phone Number, Content of the order and Declared Value USA Dollar), but today, one person of Everbuying said to me that I have to wait till 45 working days after shipped: when arrived to the 45 day may be Everbuying will say me that I have to wait till 60 day?? This is not the way to work,because you explain clearly that shipp time to Europe is 7-15 working days.

I have ordered several times. My first order was delayed - they had a big sale and I wasn't too happy it took a while to get to me but when I called the customer service line they were so nice. Refunded my shipping cost and upgraded it to 2 day shipping. Prices are really good and they have a lot of sales so you can get name brand hockey equipment for a pretty good price. I was able to get a Bauer composite stick for my son for $24 :) I just ordered a few last minute Christmas gifts for my son. Can't wait for them to get here.
This is the best venue if you are looking for true handmade items, real vintage, fine arts and art suppliers. I've shopped on this website with many of the shops on the website and I even have my own shop there. Come on by this website and you won't be disappointed on what it offers. The website is also growing and has nearly doubled in shops since October. It's definitely a venue you want to give a try.

I have used this unique website to purchase various products that help people with digestive issues for more than 10 years. I have nothing but good to say about the help that is available. The website is a bit convoluted to navigate but not to purchase the products. They offer an entire support system. This is a small business that goes above and beyond and really cares!
They draw you in with promises of "points," which have expiration dates. The so-called 1000-pt tables are routinely not available for any date or time you enter. They also make the search for such confusing. There is NO website contact information readily available. The entire experience just makes me NOT want to visit any restaurants listed. I jogged over to StubHub and was extremely happy with my experience there. Able to quickly and easily log in and order a food delivery from a local Mexican restaurant. Also got $5 off my order.
They worked to assist me to complete a return,but it took a long time, anyway, I got what I want.
Used the site for a long time. Suddenly I was not able to use two credits. Called and emailed customer service a total of six times. I was encouraged to use my credit card to purchase the books I wanted instead of using credits. Customer Service always assured me they would fix the credit problem, but never did. I'm disgusted! Quit the service.
This is an excellent site! Been on Allpoetry for 11 years now. I love the new layout of it! Very easy to navigate and a lot more modern of a look now...which looks great!

CONSUMER BEWARE! It is now two weeks away from Christmas and I thought I had my shopping done. For an order I placed over 2 weeks ago, I finally received an e-mail the other day saying "Sorry - For Unforseen Reasons, We Cannot Send You Your Purchase. Your Credit Card is Being Refunded But This May Take 2 Weeks". Absolutely ridiculous. No offer of purchasing another item or any sort of reconciliation for the inconvenience. I missed a lot of great local sales. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. What kind of grade-school, mom-and-pop-shop company is this?
Basically, they give you what you want (sometimes) and only answer when you threaten a refund. Then, months later, because I gave up RS. They basically took everything that'd fetch a value. $#*!s.
The only reason that I ordered from Target.com, was because Walmart was completely out of the product I was looking for. So, I placed my order, and I was excited, and everything seemed well. The product came in when it was supposed to, BUT the delivery was incredibly poor. To be honest, it was the worst I've EVER experienced. I ordered a Presto Knife Sharpener for my mom and the product did not come in with any actual packing. The knife sharpener came in the regular box, no actual shipping box. It was dirty and all banged up. Not to mention it was a gift... and the surprise was ruined. I'm pretty sure I'm returning this. POOREST QUALITY EVERRRRRRR!!!
As so many others, I ordered on Thanksgiving. They of course took my money immediately. It took several days for them to show the item as shipped . Okay. it's the Christmas season. I can understand the delays. They give me a UPS tracking number; showing the item to be delivered yesterday Dec. 6th. Around 9pm I go to check the UPS tracking number to see if there was an issue and sure enough, UPS is showing "a shipping request has been generated and as soon as we have the item, we will update delivery information". I write them asking that since they don't have the product ready to ship and it's a gift, could I get a refund. Short answer "NO" I have to wait 1-2 weeks to hear when I can EXPECT the item,then wait for them to ship it, get the item, request an RMA, send it back at MY expense and then wait somewhere around 30 days for them to issue a refund. yeah... don't think so! So filed a complaint with the BBB (of which they are NOT a member, but they are now graded at D-), filed with my credit card company, posting here and climbing to a mountain top to shout to everyone within ear-shot to avoid these people at all costs! Just for giggles, I DID email email@example.com to see the quality of the "GREAT SOLUTION" here's a solution. don't sell stuff you don't have on hand. don't generate fake tracking information and provide the customer experience your site hypes. That is all it is. pure, putrified hype! oh yeah, all my Facebook contacts now know to avoid this place like the plague! UPDATE: I got NO response from writing them at their requested "firstname.lastname@example.org" when they clearly tell people they will respond within 24 hours with a GREAT SOLUTION. After many emails back and forth with "Kristine" my "issue" got escalated to "Kristof", who "closed my file" while replying with our issue was escalated to me and we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We always aim to provide the best customer service possible, however, there are things that are beyond our control such as the holiday season's influx of orders. We have taken this as a valuable feedback and forwarded your concern to the management. This will help us in our drive to continually improve our products and services." I have filed with the BBB (who now grades them D-), taken the issue up with my credit card company and am trying to start a file with the FBI's internet fraud unit. Dec 12. Nomorerack hasn't a CLUE what they are doing. As of today I was told by the BBB and Google Trusted Partners team that a credit had been issued. Nothing from Nomorerack saying they were issuing me a refund. Then I get a shipping notification that the item was shipped and delivered today. So I don't know if these people are inept or can't keep their lies straight. Package will be refused (un-opened) and no RMA will need to be issued. I simply want this to come to a fair and proper end. Get what you said was canceled and shipped anyway back; the credit back to my card (yes, I filed a dispute and the cc company has reversed the charges, but just want my refund to show and we both go our separate ways. I certainly hope that I and the others that have posted their issues here are the exception rather than the rule. Somehow I doubt it though. If they don't have tighter inventory control and know what is going on any better than what has been my experience I only wish ALL folks that order from them the very best of luck. Luck was not with me.
My 9 yr old daughter created this account and now I can't get anyone on the phone or email to cancel. They continue to take money every month even though I have tried repeatedly to cancel. Their website to complain is always inoperable and NO ONE ever picks up their phone lines. DO NOT GET MOSHI MONSTERS FOR YOUR KIDS!!! You will never be able to end the account. Shameful that they take advantage of young children!!!
"it won't happen overnight but it will happen.." i have ordered one item, once, from this business. beautiful unique designer clothes at fair price. I just want to buy everything on this site. the product comes shipped in it's own "shoe box" for protection and presentation. great for gift idea. its great to find this is an asian style store that makes clothes long/large enough for my average westerner frame. a few buts... the website although beautifully presented, the websites function itself is a little slow or difficult to navigate smoothly (on ipad anyway) i got an instant automatic email when i put through the order, ...but i had to manually send an email to them to confirm that my payment had been registered in my bank statement. That miscommunication put my shipping out by almost a week. shipping from Malaysia to nz .. the tracking number i was given could not be utilised by the Malaysian courier website, although that in no way reflects on Najjah, who kept in touch with me the whole time. i would like to shop here again.
