I received a charger for my MacBook Pro. It had a short in it. They were willing to replace the charger. However, I was soon notified that the charger I needed was "Out of Stock" and wouldn't be available for a while. They said they would ship me a replacement when it was back in stock AND I had returned the defective charger. That seems reasonable. However, they would not pay for return shipping of a defective charger. I think that is poor customer service to require the customer to pay for return shipping on a defective product that they had sent. I asked if they would reimburse the shipping charges if I paid for it, and they said no, it wasn't in their policy. That I should have read their policy. That feels to me like they are getting away with the "fine print" clause. I disputed the charge with my credit card and the charges were reversed. It is still under investigation. DO NOT PAY WITH A DEBIT CARD, as you will lose a lot of consumer protection if you do. I feel like their excuse that the charger was not in stock was a way to delay me long enough so that the filed dispute against them with my credit card would expire and they would then not be held accountable for the poor customer service and defective product they provided. I will never do business with them again, and would recommend you never do as well. The only positive reviews i could find, are cases where nothing went wrong. If those same people who posted positive reviews ever have a problem with this company, I believe they will experience difficulties and through that experience, they will change their minds about this company.
I ordered two dresses from them. It took along time to get the dresses because I ordered on a holiday. When I finally received my dresses, they were not what I ordered. One was similar to the picture and description, but the other one was a completely different style of dress. I ordered an A-line and it was sent as a mermaid dress The company keeps making excuses. I am disputing it with paypal, but not sure what is going to happen. I learned my lesson. Don't buy from companies that you have never heard of. Don't buy a dress from Helenebridal.com!
It was a pretty good site but like most of the old social site (myspace) it's gotten worse with age. However the scammers like so many of you mention are easy to spot once you go into their page or once they start to talk to you so I'm not worry about them. As for this site being racist like I saw in two comments that just sounds like right wing propaganda lol.
I have just placed an order from Canada #804632 on 10/03/14 @ 75% off sale?! Paid extra for quicker delivery (would like it before all the snow melts and turns in to mushy dirt) I know it will take weeks but! I ordered three jackets, pair of boots and lace top. Thought I would take a chance since they all looked great......did read the reviews and thought I would post as I start with the order and keep everyone informed on how it goes from here. The order process was ok until I went to the check out page and the 5% FIRST PURCHASE DISCOUNT disappeared from the total $ amount and did not show up again. I made a note to them on the order regarding it. I paid with PayPal in case of any problems mentioned on earlier posts from others.
I LOVE this site, and can't see why anyone would not like it. Maybe it depends on your taste, or better yet, your taste for the child your are buying a stuffed animal for. Absolutely every creature in on there.I am about to buy a cheeta. becase the 6 year old I care about loves "the fastest animal." If your order arrives and everything is perfect, then you will have nothing to lose. However, if you receive an incorrect item or your sizes do not fit, beware! I was a customer in the 90's, but I will no longer order from them. There is no customer service phone number, and they do not answer emails. How is one to rectify a situation? There is truly no customer service at all. I have been forced to call the credit card company in order to have the charges removed after proof of return. DON'T DO IT! You will regret it!

I ordered a prom dress for my daughter off the fabpartydress website, this was the BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. First of all when I recieved the dress it came inside out, lace in the back of the dress was stretched out and torn all the way down the back of the dress. After several attemps to reach them by email since they do not have a phone number, I was told to take pictures of the dress to send to them, this was a waste of time as the email that was replied stated the dress was fine and they could not help. They cleary do not honor or stand by their product which is sad when we trust and pay for something we think we are getting and then get the run around. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAN AND WOULD SUGGEST OTHERS NOT TO AS WELL.
Material is poor quality - their sizes are for very small people - maybe little girls.Even the medium size is like an extra small size. They engage in marketing fraud and the the of USA should be doing something about these company and the people behind it.
I wish I could show you my wedding dress I received. It would speak louder than words..it is nothing like the dress in the picture..Just beware they don't do refunds!!!! The seamstress I brought it to said it was made wrong. The front panel wasn't put in correctly and the dress didn't fall softly because they cut it too low. The set in bra is huge and too high. How does a company that makes dresses not know how to make a dress correctly?? I am paying another $180 to remake the dress.
Definitely Pros and Cons. I like a few other reviewers, thoroughly read everything when performing transactions online. As such, I knew exactly what I was getting into regarding the VIP status. I'm also a pretty savvy shopper, so I am familiar with the adage "you get what you pay for". My dissatisfaction is neither with the VIP program (in any capacity - labeling, enrolment, implementation, TofS, etc.), nor the quality of product. My issue is with the management of Customer Service issues, and the ethical handling of legitimate complaints. My first purchase with JustFab went off without a hitch. I even love the product (a pair of genuine leather boots for a decent price). My second purchase however, has left a poor taste in my mouth. This round, I purchased another pair of genuine leather boots, and a jacket. Jacket is fantastic...have already worn it twice since receiving it a week ago. The boots however, were a problem. When I opened the box, the wrong product (incorrect style, colour, AND size) were inside. Outside of the box reflects what I ordered...inside not so much. Contacted Customer Service through the chat feature to inquire about resolution, only to discover I won't be able to have them ship me a replacement pair of the correct boot, as they are sold out. Customer Service rep offers me a credit. Excuse me? Not only is it clearly indicated in the Returns Policy that full refund (minus a re-stocking fee) is an option, but this is not an issue of "it doesn't fit" or "I don't like it/I changed my mind". They physically sent me the wrong boot, and in the wrong size, so even if the style was agreeable to me, it doesn't fit. It is nearly the equivalent of a defective item. So far, my requests to customer service for a refund have gone unaddressed. I've shipped the boots back in order to at least obtain my credit, but I suspect that short of having to get extremely aggressive, this vendor won't honour their policy, nor do the right thing with regards to not charging me a re-stocking fee and/or waiving replacment product shipping should I use the credit. I'm truly disappointed. Consumers deserve to be able to rely on the published policies and be treated with respect when a company makes a mistake...regardless of how much they spend on an item.
its a scam I enjoyed first two month and I stopped playing it I paid by credit card but they just charged me for another month without any notice or explanation!!! yeahh i was paying auto renewal.... and i didn't know bout it i can accept it coz its my fault to not read it but They charge me extra two times exactly 2 days later after I made the payment!! they charged me on 2014.02.03 and 2014.03.03 when I made two payments on 2014.01.31 and 2014.03.01!!! I heard tat they are abusing users card information and i am not alone!! so just keep away from this crap
I have now placed 2 orders with Beyond the Rack. My first order involved an apron and 2 oven mitts. After over 3 weeks from placing my order, I was told they only could send me 1 and were refunding the money. I understand sometimes it happens every once in awhile, and while disappointed, I accepted the fate of not having 2 matching oven mitts. This was over a year ago. I just placed an order the beginning on February, for a shirt. I have been looking for this type of shirt for a long time and found it, although I didn't really have the money, I bought it anyway, because I figure after years of searching I should get it. So I check and it was supposed to ship by February 26. On the 26, I check and they had moved the date to sometime in March. I checked Friday I think it was, and it then said that the item had been refunded. No call, not email, nothing from BTR. I will never purchase from them again, after getting my hopes up twice in a row. I cannot believe that its just coincidence that it has happened twice for me.
