I have just purchased a brand New Stainless Steel GE Microwave Oven, it was installed today and working Excellently well. The One I had before was also a GE brand which I have had for many years, it worked perfectly well, I only just decided to change to a Stainless Steel type to fit my Kitchen decor. GE Products work for me because they last a long time. I am a happy User of GE Appliances. Thanks GE.

We bought the GE Cafe dishwasher Model # CDT845P2N351 approximately 2 years ago and just found out that the main board is defective (after a $129.00 service call) and that I will have to pay another $430.76 in order to have this board replaced. Since we are away 4 months of the year, we have only used the dishwasher for 16 months. I do NOT recommend this product, as I have no faith that it will not happen again.

We bought the GE Cafe dishwasher Model # CDT845P2N351 approximately 2 years ago and just found out that the main board is defective (after a $129.00 service call) and that I will have to pay another $430.76 in order to have this board replaced. Bought stove, range fan, fridge, microwave 4 years ago. Microwave started tripping the breaker 2 years ago and finally died this month. Stove stopped working 1 week after install and has now had 3 motherboards replaced and now has the control panel flashing off and on. The range hood only exhausts on one side. The fridge freezer can only keep up if you set it to the coldest setting and then stuff freezes in the fridge section.
Ask a reputable repair company and they'll tell you..."IT'S JUNK!"

I bought a 50 pint dehumidifier from Home Depot, after a week an error code "P1", showed on the display and the machine quit working. This only happened when the pump was on. I looked in the manual and found no information about the code. After several attempts I called customer service and was told because they don't do the repairs, they don't list the error codes. Is it me, or am I wrong for not wanting to buy anything else from GE? I am a former customer service representative and the companies I've worked for knew the error codes and basic troubleshooting.

GE customer service is worse than 1-star. Apparently, they no longer include owner's manuals with their appliances, although their quick guide says to call *******000 to order a paper copy. I need an owner's manual for a recently purchased microwave. I called the number, waited on hold for an hour, and was told by their very unhelpful representative that they no longer print them at all. Then she very rudely hung up on me. No more GE EVER!

94 days after purchase GE washing machine Model: GTW465ASN9WWstarted randomly dispensing water when not turned on. Woke us up in the middle of the night thinking a pipe burst. Has done same activity 4 times now. Machine is now unplugged and water supply turned off, so useless. Called GE, warned 30 minute wait time, sat on phone for over an hour, no one picked up. Went on line to request service through GE website, plugged in data and got back a response stating,"experiencing temporary issue, we cannot process your request at this time." Over and over and over, and given another number to call, takes you back to exact same phone que warning 30 minute wait time. Absolutely ridiculous!

I had a GE refrigerator for 2 years. One of the drawers broken only after 2 years of light use. I ordered OEM drawer from GE website. To my surprise drawer sent to me had a hugh crack on it! Now I have to pay for post to send it back! And I am responsible for costs! I made this review short and don't comment on rude woman on customer service, put me on hold for half an hour and connect me to non where! GE appliances quality and customer service is a joke!

Our 2nd GE microwave in two years. This one not working the first day we installed it. Trying to get a replacement. GE says it must be non repairable to replace. This is unacceptable when it is brand new. It has so many issues, we are worried repairing may be inadequate and machine could start on fire. GE rep will not even return calls. So disappointed.

I bought a new dryer in October. It worked 2 weeks. We contacted GE for it to get fixed and they set us up with a repair guy that lives 10 hrs away! Took them 2 weeks to come look and tell us they had to order parts. A month and a half later, no parts, repair guy won't return calls, Lowes won't exchange. Extended warranty won't so anything and nobody returns calls at GE. I have spent more at the laundry mat then the thing cost! I will never work with GE again.

Café AFFETTO Espresso Machine
Model #: C7CEBAS4RW3 and it was delivered defective. We contacted them so many times and they refuse to honor the warranty or any replacement. Terrible product and awful customer service! We will report them to BBB with official complain.

I bought a brand new GE front loader washer and when I got it ready to connect to our laundry room connections, I found the top plastic ring on the basket had some major nicks like something heavy hit it. I haven't even had a chance to use it yet. I've been trying to get some help from GE customer service but they've been just running me in circles. STAY AWAY FROM GE!

After one month of minimal use, GEModel #: JB655YKFS the coating burner coating started to disintegrate or collect residue within one month of less than normal usage. GE offered me an absurd "opportunity" to purchase another glass top at a discounted rate without regard for considering the coating or glass was poor quality or even the burner was poorly designed. They viewed the damage as "cosmetic". I would not recommend this product even though it's highly reviewed. GE solicits reviews too early which artificially inflates the product rating. They are not soliciting reviews after a reasonable period of usage so beware of the "reviews". I cleaned the bottoms of my All-Clad cookware before using them on the new stove. There is no user misuse or damage in this case simply poor quality product.

I purchased a stove in September, by December the stove broke. Took days to even get in touch with someone to schedule a repair appt. Repair guy comes and says he can't come back till January. It's been 3 weeks and my stove is STILL not repaired. They changed our appt with no regard to someone else's schedule. GE deserves 0 stars. I can't even get a refund on a product that's less than 3 months old. I will never buy another GE product again.

The men came and knocked I let them in they spent about an hour and they left my light on toilet paper in the floor they left my electric box open used half of my dish soap for idk what, it was ridiculous how they treated our home I didn't get either of there names as I Was upstairs tending to my son. But down right dirty no respect for other people's things

Do NOT buy from GE. Washing machine is not even 3 years old and will no longer turn on. Tried to order a replacement part to fix from their website for next day delivery that showed in stock. Was told the next day that the past was out of stock and would not be delivered until over a month later. Ok. I get it, maybe the site didn't update. BUT they wouldn't cancel and refund my order. Who doesn't provide a refund for a service that they can't provide? And to make it worse the customer service was rude and dismissive. I'll never order a GE, Monogram, Café, Haier or Hotpoint appliance.

5 month old ge washer vent system. Already dead.waiting on 4 new parts to be replaced. With laundry stuck in washer for 3 weeks so far.door locked won't open.will not let me return.will only allow repairs.recieved 1 part so for from Thailand. No wonder washer died it is assembled with Thailand part.would not advise anyone to every purchase g.e.products.they are pure garbage.

I placed an online order on Friday night. After I submitted it I noticed an error. No way to go back in and correct it. Customer service was closed for the weeked so I call Monday morning as soon as they opened and asked for the order to be corrected. Was told the it had already been "pulled" and I would need to return it once I received it. Remember, they are closed on the weekend. They just want to make it difficult.

GE microwave mod. JVM3160RF6SS magnetron failed at 1 1/2 years old. Service call placed later because working thru GE customer service is a nightmare. Caroline in customer service is rude and did not open a case #. Four calls later I finally get a case # and transferred to Case Manager Terrell. After going round and round I was offered 70% off parts and a $115 service call. Could not get the cost of a magnetron… soooo no idea what a service call would cost. Opt # 2 pro rated cost of replacement micro wave. Did not see any pro rated pricing on $349 new microwave plus $110 delivery and installation charge. With service fee totaled &489. That's not a good choice. 3rd option buy on line on sale for $239 and replace it myself. Why not pro rate the $239 and me pay for installation. Just terrible customer support. Lots of shell game banter but nothing done. Consider this when purchasing GE… they do not stand behind their product.

Purchased Cafe 48" Refrigerator. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Customer Support no better. Stopped cooling within the warranty period, 6 service calls now without a cooling refrigerstor. You would think a $10,000+ Refrigerator would cool? Buyer Beware! Had no Frig for Thanksgiving, now awaiting parts until after New Years. I am boycotting GE for life, done!

There was a time GE meant something, NO LONGER!

Waste of $10,000, didn't successfully cool for 9 months!!!!! Then GE Service tried 5 times to fix unsuccessfully, no Frig for Thanksigiving'23, Christmas'23 & New Years'24. DO NOT BUY GE PRODUCTS! Their products are poor quality and their service is just as bad. They hide behind their warranty and brand. VERY SAD!!!! Buy some other brand!

Here we are again within a few months having to call for service on our GE Fridge. This refrigerator is only 4 years old and has needed service for two separate issues earlier this year and now yet another problem. We have been inconvenienced several times for a repairman to come and diagnose, come again to repair, come again to diagnose because the first time was incorrect, then again for a repair. We were unable to use the refrigerator because it was warming up. Now a new issue with the door. Time to get rid of this defective product and move on to something better.

A repair is needed for my washer. Tech came twice and had to order parts each time. THREE appointments have been missed with ZERO communication on their end. Their solution? Make me wait another 2 weeks. Horrible, horrible service. They escalated my complaint and the agent had the nerve to get mad at me for just trying to get my machine fixed.

First we didn't get the legs for washer/ dryer combo. Called GE they said they would order them and send someone out to PROPERLY install. They took 8 days to order, then we kept calling to get the status or a tracking number they hang up on us or transfer the call to another person who know nothing about our issue. Please close down your customer service center the people you hire should not be in customer service.

I bought a new home coming with GE appliances. On the first day of moving in, I found that the microwave does not work, so I made an repair request online. An officer also called me to confirm my needs one day before the in-person appointment. However, during our appointment time, another officer texted me and asked me to provide my address again, and then told me that there were no technician available at the time of our appointment. This is insane. They stated that the warranty group does not have access to the schedule and availibility of the technician group, but that is GE's problem itself. Their inner communication is so bad.
What I am so mad at is that they should have informed me that no one could come a few days earlier, instead of during my appointment time! Very disappointed. I would give them zero if possible.

Tip for consumers:
When buying a new home, better not choosing the home coming with GE appliance.

We purchased a GE Cafe induction stove in May, 2022 and on Dec 9,2023 the cooktop stopped working completely. We scheduled service and the tech came out fairly quickly. After diagnosing the issue we were told we had to replace parts which with the service charges total $1,200. I was shocked that a one and a half year old stove would need a major repair. We scheduled the repair, which the tech said would take a week. A week later We stayed home waiting for the tech that never came. After calling the GE customer service to find out where the service person was, I was told a part that was needed had not come in. However, no one bothered to inform us! We scheduled service for Dec 29th. On Dec 29th we waited around all day and no one showed. I called again only to discover that the part needed isn't expected to be available until Feb 12th! This means we are without a stove for two months. How can GE market products and not stand behind them? Why not have parts available for their recent products? The lack of reliability of this stove, the lack of communication from customer service, and no offer of relief for our situation has left us with no choice but to share our negative experience with others. I will never buy GE products again.
