After six days I got a phone call from a lady to say that they could not fill my order because my bank was in another country. I therefore cancelled the order as I was leaving the US in the next week or so. I have just received my latest statement showing that WinterSilks debited my card account for approximately $15 on November 27 which is AFTER I had left the country. I did not purchase any items from WinterSilks. I did not receive any items from WinterSilks. How is it possible for them to debit my account in this way, especially as I had to cancel the original order because they claimed they do not do business with banks outside of the USA? Can someone - anyone - please help me? A Beale
BEWARE! Shipping charges to Canada. I have just received a package from Wintersilks which weighs 450gms. They charged me $29.00 shipping charge. What a rip off.

It's because it's not even the same company making the garments anymore. Venus Swimwear sold out years ago to a company called Blair. I think Wintersilks is now probably being used to launder money due to their obvious neglect of once loyal customers and now horrible quality of merchandise.
