When visiting the USA in early November, I placed an order with WinterSilks. After six days I got a phone call from a lady to say that they could not fill my order because my bank was in another country. I therefore cancelled the order as I was leaving the US in the next week or so. I have just received my latest statement showing that WinterSilks debited my card account for approximately $15 on November 27 which is AFTER I had left the country. I did not purchase any items from WinterSilks. I did not receive any items from WinterSilks. How is it possible for them to debit my account in this way, especially as I had to cancel the original order because they claimed they do not do business with banks outside of the USA? Can someone - anyone - please help me? A Beale
