After writing my previous review, eShakti's customer representative sent me a message here requesting my order # to see if something could be done about the situation. I gave my order #, and received a reply to my original emailed order confirmation, with eShakti requesting photos of me wearing the dress, from 2 views. Upon taking these photos, I discovered an issue I hadn't seen yet - the hem is uneven, much longer on the right than the left. While people may not notice this flaw when the dress is worn, as a seamstress I expect a custom-made dress to have an even hem.
After sending my photos, eShakti has requested I re-verify my height and I have done so. I even double checked on my end, and verified that yes, I submitted it correctly on the original order.
I will update again with how eShakti handles this. I was not looking for a return, exchange, nor remake. As I mentioned in my original review post, I needed to wear the dress with embellishments added to a wedding on October 28th - the dress has now been altered and worn, as there was not enough time between me receiving the dress and the date of the event to attempt a return, exchange, or remake (due to when I ordered, not due to any shipping delay). My review was to make potential buyers aware of issues that may arise in using this company. EShakti chose to reach out to me, and I am curious to see how they choose to proceed.
