Searching for a SDQ to MCO flight I had hits on Frontier and decided to book through SmartFares. This was a bare bone booking with only a personal item no bags. On this trip that was all I needed so I saved some cash. The Jan 28th flight got cancelled due to mechanical issues, this can happen flight cancelled we didn't fall down. The lady at the check in offered me either a refund or a seat on the Jan 30th flight. I took the Jan 30 offer, Frontier also handed me a 50 USD credit to be used on a future flight. I give Frontier four stars for this can't give them five because of the cancellation, but four. Overall the crew at SDQ were helpful and did a great job sorting it out. In stark contrast to a previous attempted flight SDQ to MIA where i was incorrectly denied boarding due to Covid 19 restrictions not fully understood by the check in crew. For a pure bare bone flight Frontier works.

I was searching on flights from SDQ to MCO and decided to try SmartFares since they had the best price. I wasn't sure whether this was going to work out having fresh in my mind another travel agency, but it worked out well. I immediately received SmartFares booking reference, the e-ticket arrived in just a few hours after I placed the booking request with SmartFares. Just to be sure all was ok I went on the chat and received immediate response, no waiting no queue. My flight will be leaving in four days, I don't expect any issues. I'm going to use SmartFares again for flight bookings.

I was incorrectly denied boarding by Frontier Airlines, FA admitted that and refunded the bag fee to me and the booking cost to trip.com, the booking was done through trip.com bag fee paid directly by myself. I have physical proof FA refunded to trip.com, trip.com, however, claim they have received nothing, and expecting a response by Feb 5th 2022. I first thought the date was a typo, but unfortunately that is not the case. trip.com is a scam and the entire corporation should be removed from NASDAQ (TCOM). I have reported my case to BBB, next step is going to be DOT. Trip.com should be removed from global operation.

My review is based on facts, not on feelings. I give trip.com one star simply because I can not submit a zero.
