I've never met anyone who *hasn't* been hacked if they had a Yahoo account... unless they were protected with Multifactor Authentication. It's a simple option under account security.

Something to keep in mind (just like gmail) if you run your email through a search engine company it's going to be scanned.

Development is supposedly on the case but still not here. Isn't the ability to perform a restore part of being a backup company?

I have been a member since 2007, recently deleted my account. I didn't so much leave the community as the community left me. There were always trolls and disagreement - it's the Internet after all - but in the effort to clamp down, the cure has been so much worse than the disease.

Simply awful site. George Orwell would be proud.

I am SO beyond disbelief upset with Yahoo. I have had an account with Yahoo for over 15 years....
