I am a long-time Groupon user for everything from tools and pillows to vacations and massages.
They have been on a steady downhill run for YEARS now and it has finally simply fallen to scam purchases.

They offer "coupons" like a $40 flower delivery for $20 (shipping included). When you arrive to blooms.com they add another $27 to your purchase and you are only allowed to select from 6 different (cheap) bundles anyway. Saving less than $5 for a huge voucher headache and crappy selection.

Even their vacations SUCK now and include 36-hour layovers at random airports. WHAT KIND of vacation package includes a 36-hour layover in Memphis with no hotel accommodations?

They allow sellers to brazenly SCAM customers and even after h8undreds of 1-star complaints continue to sell the scam groupons.

The customer service is about as incompetent as copy/paste customer service as you can get. Asking for screenshots of the issue in response to you emailing screenshots (not even reading the emails, just the SAME copy/paste response over and over until you go away).

Groupon used to be a decent place to get great deals on services and goods. Now it is just a place to advertise "fake sales" (advertising a $50 item as a $100 item with a $50 discount when it is $30 on Amazon), SCAM services (companies that will not allow you to redeem the coupon), horrible vacation packages (massive layovers), and to top it all off the most incompetent customer service that I have ever dealt with.

This is probably the WORST company I've ever ordered flowers from.

They never delivered and then claimed they "attempted" delivery. It was to a business building with a mailroom open 7AM-8PM (they promised delivery before 5PM).

Not only did they fail to deliver they also directly lied about the "attempt" to deliver.

They are actually a version of "1800flowers", WHy keep two websites for the same service? TONS OF BAD REVIEWS ON BOTH COMPANIES.

MOST of the items they email (which is constant 1-3 time per day SPAM) are not real. They will tell you must log in at 10 AM EST (or 2PM EST)and I even scripted it to see item updates.

The best deals they offer via email will NEVER actually be available on the website. They will add 1-2 INSANE deals to get you to click to the site and then simply never offer them (Good example is $50 hoverboards or $25 electronics, these "cool" items are just click-bait).

I would not call it a scam if they were simply gone so fast you couldn't get them, but blatantly lying about what is available to drive clicks in deceptive and immoral.

If you want "testosterone boosters" or other scammy vitamins you can get them for 90% off. Most of the stuff they actually offer discounts on are literal garbage that need to be buoyed with fake reviews.

This is IF the coupon even works (as the website was coded by C- students).,

The site is unreliable.

The owners are intentionally dishonest click-baiters.

The stuff available is normally junk or scammy vitamins.

There are FAR better reviews sites with more honest goals.
