Things have changed at 39Dollar Glasses. Firstly, their styles of frames are far behind the trends and are of a medium to low quality. Secondly, they've decided to very annoyingly up-sell in every step of the process, offering (a mandatory section; you must choose something) 1) UltimateView Light & Thin Rx Lenses - included in the price of the frames themselves OR one of these two other add-on, upswell options... Which seem remarkably similar to one another: Option 2)
UltimateView Light & Thin Rx Lenses with Anti-Reflective Coating for $24.95, or option 3) UltimateView Super Thin Rx Lenses with Premium Anti-Reflective Coating for $59.99. So, no more $39 dollar glasses as this potion is just the beginning of the confusing and meaningless upgrades they throw your way. Because next, for some reason there' another antireflective option: Crizal Prevencia Anti-Reflective Coating and added to AR package for, $55.00... Okay so the next mandatory category is also related to coatings... Antireflective coatings, which I'd thought they just covered... but here we go again: 1) UltimateView Anti-Reflective Coating
What's UltimateView Anti-Reflective Coating? For $24.95, or 2) Blue495 Anti-Reflective Coating. $49.95 and wait for it: 3) Crizal Prevencia Anti-Reflective Coating... this time around for $79.95 (What?) - Ridiculous. And thirdly, the most important place 39 Dollar Glasses has slipped is in customer service, or more accurately in lying. I was given the go ahead for a return and refund, given an RA number and they emailed me the return label to print out, all in one customer service call. I filled din the paperwork and printed out the return label and went to the post office and sent them back... Only to be sent an email stating I could not return the glasses for a refund but only for "store credit". Bad. Bad, bad customer service. Skip 39Dollar Glasses. There are many other companies providing this service and doing better at it. Try Pollette.
