The rings in the candles and bath bombs are a creative idea and I used to enjoy them in moderation. I say moderation because the products are pretty pricey and it's kinda ridiculous since the rings aren't great. They're pretty, but they don't last long and remind you that they're fake. They turn rusty very quick or the jewels pop out. The very last ring I got from them had the gem pop out two days after I got it. The candles and bath bombs are good though. They always smell nice and the bath bombs make the water pretty.

Aside from the whole "expensive but cheap rings" fiasco, I officially stopped buying from them because last Halloween season, they appeared to have stolen bath bomb designs from another company I also buy from. Not just shapes since no one owns a shape, but it was pretty on the nose with the similar name of the collection and the item that came in the bomb. Fragrant Jewels is known for putting well... jewels in their products and they could have easily incorporated a creepy ring, but instead they put the exact same item in the bombs that you would expect from the other company. The only difference is they were expensive as usual while the other company tends to be more affordable. It just rubbed me the wrong way because Halloween is so broad and you could use so many different ideas to sell and it was a little too coincidental that they happened to sell a collection that they've never done before that was similar to a smaller business that has used the concept for years.

I'm still doubtful of Instagram ads. Some companies I buy from are legitimate. This one is a mixed bag which I've never experienced before. For one thing, the gems are way more appealing looking on the website. I ordered a moonstone ring and it's still a nice ring, but for the price I paid, I wasn't expecting a boring, cloudy looking stone.

The shipping was weird too. This was during Cyber Monday and I did my shopping from different companies, yet this was the only order where they didn't ship it until 6 whole days after I ordered it. All my other orders where shipped 1-2 days after I ordered. The only excuse I'll accept is they were overwhelmed by the sale.

The most puzzling part is that they claim to be based in Florida. In fact, I live about 2 hours away from where they shipped my ring from, so you can understand my confusion when my bank account showed not just what my ring cost, but there was a Foreign transaction fee that was a measly $. 075. The location is from Germany and there's nothing on the site that mentions that at all. Why is there money going to Germany when I ordered from a "Floridian" company? It left me a little uneasy because as I stated before, I live practically 2 hours away from where they shipped my order from, why am I getting a Foreign transaction fee and why is it not mentioned anywhere on their site?

So basically, their products are way too overpriced for dull looking stones that don't match how shiny and pretty they are on the site and they don't tell you about a foreign fee even though this is supposed to be a company that ships from the US.

I appreciate that it had a film I needed to watch for a film class, but that's all I can say about this site. The ads are way too frequent and don't come in normally like an ad would on say Hulu. The ads cut in the middle of dialogue. How ridiculous is that? A character is in the middle of a sentence and then boom! 5 ads cut in the middle of what they're saying and I miss it so I have to rewind it, only it goes back too far and I'm stuck with the ads again. The buffering and lagging is also annoying. The site says it can be your connection, but all my other sites are working fine. The captions are pretty terrible too; they show up before the words are spoken and they're disorganized like one character was saying, "Yes, he's only seven years old. He needs me", but the captions say: "Yes. He needs Seven."
