Last week I ordered several small jars of various spices, a box of baking soda, a pair of metal kitchen tongs, 3 packs of applesauce cups, and a box of baggies.
All of the items were tossed in a box, with no protection. During shipping, one of the packs of applesauce tore open, and the metal tongs punctured the foil seal on one of the cups. This resulted in applesauce leaking in the box.
The box of baking soda was not sealed well, so baking soda was also leaking in the box. When the mailman handed the shipping box to my husband, baking soda was actually leaking out of that box.
Everything in the order was covered with a mixture of applesauce and baking soda. It cleaned up ok, but would have ruin books or clothing. There was obviously no thought given to packing the order carefully, so all the items were loose and tumbled around during the shipping process.
I won't order stuff to be shipped again, if this is an example of their method of packing and shipping.
