We booked our tickets: Toulouse - Helsinki via Lisbon.
The first flight was at 6:45pm, the airline staff at 7pm started to tell us that the flight was delayed for 40 minutes... 7:45pm, staff announce another 45 min to wait... like this for 3 or 4 times. After 4:30 hours finally the plane arrived, obviously we lost our connection to Helsinki.
At 1:00 am finally we arrived in Lisbon, where their staff were waiting for us with new connections. They are so amazingly inefficient that they gave us a new connection in the next 5 hours going to Brussels and in ONLY 20 minutes, take another plane to Helsinki. WAW!
We went to talk with them in Lisbon, trying to explain that the connection time was to short (20 min), that we will be risking again to lose the next connection. They did not understand, they forced us to take that flight.
Finally we arrived in Brussels, luckily we got time to get the flight to our final destination BUT we insisted that we wanted to be sure that our bags were in the plane (as the connection was only 5 min), ALL their staff confirmed that our bags were on the plane, they were 100% SURE of that! We trusted them.
After 20 hours of travel, we arrived to Helsinki!
Big surprise: OUR BAGS WERE MISSING! After all this hassle and drama, they lost our bags!
There is an EU regulation that you must receive a compensation for flights delayed and for loosing connections.
We wrote to TAP about this subject, obviously they did not reply to us!
The refuse to follow the regulations, they have not respect for their clients, they do not want to pay us!
