I've used Flighthub for a few years now. I've had some great deals using their service. A few weeks ago I booked a flight from Toronto to Chiang Mai, Thailand. All went well with the booked and I received my confirmation. A few weeks later I received an email from them stating, 'there has been a change to your flight' and to contact them. I was unable to get anyone on the phone, September 20,2023. The call kept dropping after stating to go online to connect with their automated assistant. So I did. The automated service could not help me and wrote, 'an agent will call in you 10 minutes'. No call. I went back on the automated service, again, 'an agent will call you in 20 minutes'. This happened 3-4 times. I gave up and called Korean Air. They advised me of the change and what I needed to do to make the adjustment and that I have to call my agent as flight was booked with them, and that there is no charge for this change. Also, that I can get a full refund, if the options do not work for me. I called Flighthub again and got a hold of someone. We went through some scenarios of different flights and decided on one of them. They told me I have to pay a change fee of $75. I asked why, as this change was not my choice...? It was the Korean Airlines who changed the flight. We were on the phone for a long time arguing back and forth. I then called Korean Air again. They advised, no you do not have to pay anything. So, I call Flighthub again and they insisted that I have to pay $75 for the change. I refused to pay even a $1. As this is an airline change, not my change. I told them, I can even cancel the entire flight for a full refund according to Korean Air. They said if I cancel the flight I would have to pay a cancellation fee of $235. They kept insisting and arguing with me that I have to pay a fee...! I was furious and got quite angry with them and hung up. I then called Korean Airlines again. What a pleasure talking with the Korean Airline representative. She listened to my concern and how Flighthub is treating me. She put me on hold for a while and then returned. She said, "we are taking over your flight from your agent and you will deal with us on the change to your flight". Just like that! What a bunch of nonsense with Flighthub! Korean Air rep. Made the change and gave me an even better flight, direct from Toronto to Seoul, Korea and then to Chiang Mai. It was infuriating how Flighthub kept arguing with me about a fee that was not my doing! How ridiculous is this, that a big company like Flighthub doesn't have previsions to waive a fee when an airline is making the change to the passengers flight. I will, at all costs, refrain from using Flighthub again, if I can help it. I will go on other sites such as, "CheapoAir", "Kayak", "Cheapflightsfares" and anyone else I can find! NO MORE FLIGHTHUB FOR ME!
