I paid a 3 days access and after a month I got a charge in my account for a subscription. I asked to cancel and refund as I did not authorize the transaction and he is only givimg me a prorated refund. They charged me today for $23.95 and giving me a $11 prorated refund. What kind of a prorated charge is that? A $12.95 a day prorated? Plus I did not subscribe nor authorized the transaction. I did not even get a email saying that 3 days access has passed and they will charge me for a subscription. I only used it for a couple days as all I needed is to create a resume.
We're very sorry to see that you view us that way, Leonara, as we state everything up-front so our users can be aware of the types of services that we offer.
To clarify, once you select our 14-day trial plan, you’re automatically enrolled in our subscription service, which we let you know at this stage that you may cancel at any time. In addition, when we request your credit card information, we clearly explain that unless you self-cancel or request a cancellation before the trial expires you authorize us to charge the card on file every four weeks at the regular price of the subscription.
The auto-renewal information is listed in multiple areas like in our sales page where all of our plans are displayed, on our payment information page where you actually enter the card details, and finally on your welcoming email which details your 14-day trial purchase as well as your new subscription.
We hope that all of this information helps clear things up and if you need help in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us directly using the link provided below, as we'll be very happy to assist you personally with anything related to the builder or your account.
